Finance Senior Assistant
- Supports the University in delivering its strategic objectives
- Works in partnership with Academic Departments, Colleges and other Professional Services to deliver and monitor the annual financial plan
- Provides regular and timely reporting of the University's financial position and performance.
Ensures that the university's Financial Regulations are fit for purpose and that the organisation adheres to them. - Safeguards and optimises assets and controls liabilities.
- Processes financial transactions in a timely, accurate and professional manner
Role Purpose
To provide administrative functions such as posting Journals to the Oracle Fusion System, supporting colleagues by answering Helpdesk queries and liaising with Finance SME's (Subject Matter Experts) to resolve outstanding queries from both Helpdesk and Support Partner systems.
The role also focuses on data integrity, process improvements and month end system processes.
