Responsibilities / Objectives:

First point of contact for branch queries regarding the stock ledger
Investigate and resolve queries from branches with regard to the stock ledger and any stock related processes
Update the stock ledger for manual postings, queries and with amendments for errors made by branches
Preparation and analysis of stock figures for management reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
Preparation and reconciliation of the results of physical stock counts to the stock ledger
Collation and reporting of the results of stock counts to the Loss Prevention department and Retail team
Provide any ad hoc reports requested by the Loss Prevention department
Create and maintain procedure documents.
Provide support to Financial Accounts team when required
Any other ad hoc tasks as required

As Assistant Gardener, you’ll be working with a team to deliver the day-to-day care of the garden and maintain high presentation standards. This role will include a range of practical tasks to develop, improve and look after the garden and contribute to the delivery of projects.

What you'll be doing

With a dedicated Learning & Development Team, we will provide all the training you need, such as All Wales Induction Framework to ensure that you succeed and excel in this role! We provide the training - we can teach you how to do the role. The only thing we cannot teach is how to be a naturally caring person.

So, if you check on your elderly neighbour, do the weekly shop for your family, help raise a family, offer to help on school trips, you have what we cannot teach and we want you to join our team.

What we need from you:

Communication skills - this is a very social job. You will be working closely with other care assistants, nurses, domestic and kitchen assistants, so it is important that you can communicate well, ask questions, work well with others, and share ideas. Lots of our residents enjoy to chat, we are looking for care assistants who can hold meaningful discussions with them; some residents love to reminisce, chat about their families and lives, so being a good listener is also key.

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care - you will need to hold this qualification or be willing (and eager) to work towards it, with support from our dedicated learning and development team.

Time management skills - this can be a busy and demanding role, so you will need to manage your own time, work well as part of a team, use your own initiative to work alone and be able to prioritize your workload.
