Claims Service

• Work within local and regional on operating processes and claim handling procedures to ensure that quality claim service is rendered to all customers in accordance with Claims Philosophy.

• Related experience in credit analysis, credit writing, recommendation to credit committee or being a credit approver would be advantageous.
• Candidates with experience should possess good understanding of banking products, credit risk, financial analysis, critical and data analysis, impact sensitivity studies, cashflow or financial modelling, options analysis, financing documentation and legal considerations.

The company is a capital markets services (CMS) licence holder under MAS. The ideal candidate for this position will support the operations team and will work with a number of functions in support of the venture capital business as well as from time-to-time support activities of the VCC and/or Fund Manager. These are overseeing corporate secretarial requirements, book and record keeping, assisting in the internal/external audit of the fund manager and funds, attending IC meetings, and overseeing preparation of investment minutes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, transaction processing, and accurate record maintenance.
• Fund operation activities for all funds i.e. corporate secretarial matters, capital calls, and distributions etc. especially in relation to the venture capital fund.
• Administration of portfolio entities in accordance with group policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and administrators to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and audits.
• Ensure all fund related documentation is properly maintained, archived, and easily accessible.
• Assist in all compliance related matters for the company.
• Create and maintain company records, both electronic and physical in accordance with MAS requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma holders in law / corporate secretarial practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or related relevant disciplines good to have but not necessary.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• A self-starter who is organised, resourceful and able to take initiatives.

Chief Dealer

1) Overall supervision of all dealing room activities

2) Convener of Asset Liability Management Committee

3) Quoting for merchant transactions and covering of same

4) Money Market operations

5) Funding of various Nostro account of the branch.

6) Monitoring and maintenance of Capital funds for DBU and ACU books.

7) Maintenance of regulatory requirement of the Singapore centre i.e MCB, MLA and AMR

8) Front office operations of Investments

9) Proprietary trading in Foreign Exchange

10) Reporting various reports related to Centre to Local Regulator and Ho

11) Apart from these the Dealing room monitors and manages around 55% of branch total assets which comprises Investments and Interbank/branch placements and around 88% of branch total Liabilities which comprises interbank /inter branch borrowings, apart from quoting rates for customer deposits which constitute another 12% of total Liabilities. In such way, pricing/composition/diversification of almost 100 % of liabilities are managed by dealing room of the centre. Though dealing room works as ALM desk for the branch as whole, the above are the primary functions.

12) Compliance with guidelines of MAS / MOM / RBI / HO as and when applicable.
