About You and This Role

 Dow has an opening for a Maintenance Planner at the Freeport, Texas location supporting Poly 7.

You will create job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work. You will be required to broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. You may act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Commissioning and Start-Up Activities for Poly 7.
• Uses feedback from the person doing the work to optimize the work plans.
• Reviews work orders for technical completeness and returns work orders to gatekeeper, if not complete.
• Carries out field checks, when needed.
• Prepares job package and inputs plan into SAP indicating the required resources, materials, and services.
• Identifies task activities necessary to execute job plan and identifies materials/tools/equipment required to perform tasks.
• Identifies/solicits safety information and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks.
• Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy by ensuring all job packages include a procedure or the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the job package is released. Checks that all Maintenance Procedures include a hazard assessment.
• Serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, as needed. Creates, develops, changes, updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure Management of Change (MOC), as required.

Requirements

Responsibilities/Duties:

General FDA Services

• Provide value-added interpretation and consulting services to the businesses and assist clients in completing regulatory submittals and reporting requirements

Basic Purpose
The Associate of Sales Engineering will be the primary technical and product resource and is a key player in the success of the sales team. This person will be responsible for understanding the prospects’ current payment processing environments and any issues or challenges they are facing to develop a solution based on EVO’s products and technologies. • 5+ years of experience with network engineering or network security engineering

• Experience leading the design and deployment of enterprise networks and security solution architectures using Zscaler

The role of Product Engineer involves the following responsibilities:

1.) Working with sales, application engineers, and developers to create specifications for new software features.

2.) Managing the backlog of requests to assign an appropriate priority level to bug fixes and new feature developments.

3.) Managing the release process to ensure that the software is released on time and contains the enhancements that were planned.

4.) Providing testing and documentation in support of new software releases.

5.) Providing second level support to end users of the software.

The engineer will primarily focus on high-fidelity simulations (LES) for automotive, aerospace, turbomachinery, and other industries using the Stitch and CharLES software. Simulations will often involve complex physics including acoustics and combustion.

Requirements:

•    MS in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering (or related degree) + 3 years of relevant experience or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (or related degree)
•    In depth knowledge of Large Eddy Simulation, aero acoustics, combustion, and multiphase flows
•    Working knowledge of Linux and CPU/GPU based high performance computing systems
•    General understanding of numerical methods used in CFD
•    Demonstrated experience with Python or C++
•    Experience using CFD software to perform simulations of industrial applications. This includes geometry preparation, meshing, simulation, and post-processing of results.
 

The annual salary range for San Jose, CA is $ 128,100 to $237,900. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. When you join Design Group as a Mechanical Engineer, EIT, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

• Design mechanical systems including water, chilled water, HVAC, wastewater, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam, hot water, compressed air, and plumbing for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial and commercial facilities
• Work with multidisciplinary project teams and interface with on-site project teams
• Complete calculations, develop specifications, and oversee mechanical design
• Handle equipment sizing, hydronic piping system design and selection of mechanical equipment in collaboration with vendors
• Inspect installations and perform site audits
• Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 2 years of experience executing mechanical design on multi-disciplinary projects
• The ability to complete mechanical system analysis, sizing, design, and report writing
• Experience in the mechanical design elements of manufacturing and distribution facilities for the food, beverage, dairy, or consumer products industries (preferred)
• Experience in the design of advanced technologies, life sciences, or facility/building mechanical systems including HVAC (air handling units, chemical and laminar fume hoods, unit heaters/coolers), water, chilled water/glycol, wastewater, cold/warm rooms, clean rooms, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam/condensate, hot water, hydronic, compressed gases, or waste/drain (preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Revit experience (preferred)
• Experience in refrigeration system design (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with our team members and clients
• A willingness to relocate to the local area (relocation assistance is for qualified applicants)
• A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions
• A bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited (institution)
• Passed FE exam - EIT
