Job Purpose

Position: Electrical Engineering Technician (Trainee)

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum dependant on experience

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1 : Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4:45pm; Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
• Week 2 : Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4:45pm; Friday off (9-day fortnight)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in all aspects of electrical engineering manufacture.
2. Collaborate with teams to design, prototype, and document solutions.
3. Manage verification procedures for new products.
4. Participate in new product introductions and reviews.
5. Write technical documentation.
6. Visit customers and suppliers (Driving license and passport required)/

Qualifications:

• Desirable: Electronic Engineering (NVQ/HNC/HND or Equivalent).
• Desirable: Soldering and cable/harness experience (IPC training provided).

Skills:

• Effective communicator, proficient with MS Office.
• Positive, team-focused, solution-orientated, and flexible.
• Passionate about electrical engineering, with a hobby or interest in tinkering with electrics.
