1. Control the registration and distribution of project technical drawings and revisions, if any.
2. Ensure that all site engineering queries and discrepancies are put up and resolved in writing via the issues of “Request for Information/Technical Query” and “Confirmation of Verbal Instructions” to the appropriate consultants.
3. Ensure preparation and approval of electrical project engineering work drawings and distribute to the site engineers for construction.
4. Work closely with the project manager, M&E coordinators, and safety personnel for the effective execution of interface responsibilities and associated works.
5. Comply with the PMP and execute the PM plans and schedules in assistance to Project manager/project director.
6. Conduct inspections to ensure that building, installation and maintenance are in accordance with the professional engineer’s design drawings and calculations.
7. Provide inputs on accomplished schedules, manpower, plant, machinery and equipment status to the Project Manager.
8. Ensure sub-contractors made prior submissions (at least three weeks before their work commencement) of their company’s organisation chart, project staff and workers’ namelist, photocopy of identity card / work permit and safety orientation certificate (SOC), competency certificates, safe work procedures detailing the step-by-step sequence of the work process, safe work practices for use of machinery, equipment and work tool and risk assessment report to the WSH Officer.
9. Vet and submit the safe work practices/procedures and risk assessment reports submitted by the specialist sub-contractors to the WSH Officer prior to approval by consultants.
10. Monitor, supervise and instruct subcontractors on their work processes, defect rectification and schedule.
11. Be responsible in ensuring project engineering works has zero defect and able to achieve conquas score of 98marks.
13. Be responsible for ensuring subcontractors always maintain good housekeeping.
14. Participate in EHS enforcement, inspections, meetings and emergency drills.
15. Be responsible for ensuring subcontractors attend inspections and meetings.
16. Monitor and propose administrative or contra charges against subcontractors who failed to comply with the work instructions.
