About the College/Department

The School of Psychology was established in 2020 and is situated within the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care. About the role

As Lecturer in Psychology you will contribute to the delivery of a range of modules across our undergraduate and postgraduate provision, with a particular focus on core areas recognised by the British Psychological Society. The role will include supporting our marketing events (e.g., open days) and outreach (e.g., school visits) which occasionally take place into evenings and at weekends.

The School of Psychology has an active research agenda, and you will have the opportunity to engage with and support financially sustainable research and/or other appropriate academic activity, contributing to the research profile of the School of Psychology. Whilst we are back to full campus delivery and activity, there will be opportunity for working from home as agreed with the Head of Discipline. We do support hybrid working as business needs permit. About You

You will have some experience of teaching a range of modules in psychology and you will be actively pursuing your own research. We are particularly seeking candidates with knowledge of biopsychology and/or cognitive psychology, but will also consider other areas of expertise. Experience of curriculum design would be beneficial but is not essential. You might hold FHEA or have other teaching experience, but should be familiar with the HE context and its requirements. Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £85 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with several Special Educational Needs and Disabilities providers across London, and to continue this, we are looking for experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants / SEND LSA’s to join us. We are available 24/7, and have built string relationships with a multitude of SEND provisions, supporting a wide range of diagnosis. If you have experience working with children who are diagnosed with Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, SEMH /Social Emotional Mental Health, EBD / Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, or ADD / Attention Deficit Disorder then it’s highly likely we will be able to find a rewarding role for you.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will have:

• Experience working within SEND settings
• Experience supporting children in groups or 1:1
• Excellent classroom management
• A caring and nurturing personality
