As the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Headteacher and senior leadership team to drive forward the school's vision and ethos. Your role will include:
- Leading and developing the primary school curriculum to engage and inspire students with SEMH needs.
- Working closely with the SENCO and pastoral team to promote student well-being and inclusive practice.
- Implementing effective teaching strategies and interventions to support student progress and engagement.
- Leading staff training and professional development to enhance the quality of teaching and support across the school.
- Fostering a positive, nurturing school culture in line with SEMH values and approaches.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with leadership experience in primary or SEMH settings.
- Proven experience working with children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff.
- A commitment to inclusive education and a child-centered approach.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle complex situations with care and effectiveness.
