Deanery C.E. Primary School and Nursery is a popular two-form entry Primary School with a Nursery Class and a Before and After School Club. Following the retirement of our current Head Teacher, we are looking to recruit a Head Teacher from Easter 2025. This position is full time and permanent.

Deanery C.E. Primary School is in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield and is a thriving, over-subscribed ‘outstanding’ school, which became a converter academy in 2011. Thank you for your interest in the role of Head Teacher at the Deanery Church of England Primary School. Our current Head Teacher is retiring after many happy and rewarding years at the school. We are now looking forward to appointing a new Head Teacher who will be able to continue the great work of the Deanery and drive us in our future development.

The Deanery is a great school. Graded consistently as Outstanding, we were one of the first Primary schools to choose to convert to an Academy in Birmingham. Work with IPU leadership to create a strong, robust and efficient pipeline to coordinate and facilitate all the activities required for the effective access to clinical images, biomaterials and meta-data for individual projects initiated by RMH or ICR scientists 2. Coordinate, navigate and facilitate all regulatory internal requirements including (when applicable): a. Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations b. Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care c. Human Tissue Act d. Research and Development Policies and SOPs 3. Be the main point of contact for the clinical R&D Office for set up of assigned R&D projects. General Duties: Work in a flexible, but organised manner Meet objectives within predetermined timescales Communicate effectively with other members of the Centre of Molecular Pathology, the BRC and other Trust staff Work under the supervision of the line manager and to consult where appropriate Ensure that all Trust and IPU policies and standard operating procedures are adhered to
