We are looking for a learning and ethos officer to join our support staff team at Cardiff West Community High School. This role will be affiliated with a year group and will work closely with the progress Lead and Attendance and Safeguarding officer for the year group.
The learning and ethos officer will support the calm, learning environment within the school and ensure that the pupils within their year group are able to thrive within a learning focussed environment. For one day a week, the learning and ethos officer will support the wellbeing of pupils within their year group by providing a safe space where mentoring, crisis management and restorative dialogues can take place.
Cardiff West Community High School is a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community school. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised applicant who can enhance the learning pathways for our pupils.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
