PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Functions as part of the Inpatient Services Hemodialysis Health Care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for assigned patients in accordance with FMCNA policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set forth by the corporation, state, and federal agencies.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides patient care under the direct supervision of Hemodialysis Registered Nurse for assigned patient(s) in the dialysis suite in the acute setting; excluding Intensive Care Units.

• Responsible for reporting and documenting all new and unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the RN.
• Promotes and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment. Supports the FMCNA commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) Activities; including those related to patient satisfaction and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the FKC Quality Enhancement Goals (QEP).
• With documented competency and proficiency may set up and prime equipment as directed by the Fresenius Nurse for renal replacement therapies (hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement and peritoneal dialysis therapies).

• Will be responsible for assuring the dialysis machine has been set up, tested and found to be safe for dialysis treatment in accordance with manufacturer instructions for use and company policy and procedures.

• Welcomes assigned patients and inquires as to their well-being since their last treatment. Reports any complaints or observations to the FMCNA RN.
• Obtains necessary pre and post treatment vital signs and weight. Reports unusual findings to FMCNA RN.
• Reports any difficulties in cannulation to FMCNA RN as permitted by state requirements; or unusual findings to FMCNA RN.
• Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to the patient treatment. This information is documented appropriately in the individual patient record to include the hospital Electronic Medical System (EMS) and the Acute Care Electronic System (ACES).
• Responsible for calculating and entry of individual patients’ dialysis machine programming for Ultrafiltration (UF) goal; treatment time; Sodium (Na) modeling; and UF modeling as prescribed.
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate safety alarms are enabled including narrow venous limits (NVL 160).
• Collects, labels specimens and ensures timely delivery to laboratory per facility policy.
• Evaluates intradialytic problems and provides intervention as prescribed by physician’s order or as directed by FMCNA RN. Monitors patient’s response to dialysis therapy and report any unusual findings to FMCNA RN.
• Obtains vital signs prior to reinfusion; performing all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment- documentation.
• Reports any change or unusual findings to FMCNA RN.
• Evaluates patient prior to termination of venous access – standing and sitting blood pressures prior to termination of venous access. Obtains hemostasis and applies appropriate dressings. Evaluates the patient prior to discharge and reports any unusual findings to the FMCNA RN
• Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor or supervising RN.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE 
 

The Sovos Marketing Specialist EMEA oversees the overall marketing strategy and plan execution for Sovos, as part of Arrow ECS exclusive distribution agreement with IT to serve the commercial market in Europe for Sovos solutions.

Sovos is a global provider of tax, compliance and trust solutions and services, offering businesses Cloud-based tools to manage complex tax obligations across various jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tax reporting and compliance processes. This role offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to Sovos’ success in delivering full suite of compliance solutions for companies on the French market.   

​Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for the execution of marketing projects, including online and offline marketing tactics. Contributes to process improvements and problem solving with existing solutions,

• Work closely with Sovos Sales and Technical Specialists - Create programs using marketing mediums including: advertising, promotions, web, email and e-marketing and reporting,

• Drives projects to ensure objectives and campaign strategies are being implemented,

• Act as content provider for the Sovos CToC solution positioning / value proposition,

• Make sure all deadlines and budget are met,

• Oversees quality control of all projects through editing, proofing and the review process,

• Creates and coordinates the lead generation, reporting and database process and report results back to manager and suppliers.

Requirements: 

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a strategic channel marketing role. Experience working with IT channels is mandatory,

• Strategic marketing plan creation experience; experience in modern marketing: digital marketing is a must, Account Based Marketing is a plus,

• Experience of marketing ERP is a plus,

• Strong interpersonal service skills,

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle several projects and stakeholders at one time,

• Strong communication skills in English and French/Spanish, verbal and written,

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

The Sr. Data Center Operations Engineer assists in ensuring the reliable operation of the FMCNA mission-critical Data Centers. The incumbent participates in Data Center planning for emergency repair, critical maintenance scheduling, standard operating procedures, and monitoring production systems for the Corporate Office and remote locations. Performs first-line problem analysis and determines appropriate corrective action.   

• Performs Data Center hardware installations, including servers, storage, network, appliances, Data Center and IT physical infrastructure, and associated power and network cabling. Interfaces with other areas of IT Infrastructure to collect required specifications for installations.  Provides guidance and support to junior members of the team  
• Maintains Data Center power, space, cooling, and structured cabling by performing capacity analysis and forecasts (including heat projections and power consumption) utilizing industry standard power utilization calculations and Data Center management software. 
• Assists in identifying maintenance needs for cooling system infrastructure, fire suppression, uninterruptible power systems, backup standby generators, and automatic transfer switches.  Contracts vendors and schedules maintenance as needed.  Reviews maintenance vendor contracts and ensures adherence to terms and schedules.  Identifies contract problems and resolves or escalates as necessary. 
• Responds to emergency events during non-business hours using established problem determination and resolution procedures. Records and logs all actions taken as a result of the emergency event and reports to management. 
• Maintains established processes for accepting, scheduling, and maintaining documentation for all production processing jobs.  Identifies areas for process improvement and makes recommendations to management.  Provides consultation to development teams regarding adherence to job control process standards. 
• Assists in developing and maintaining all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) used within the Data Center Operations team and recommends changes for process improvement as needed.  Routinely reviews all established documentation for required updates. 
• Assists with updates to Data Center floor plans and installation documentation.  Tracks current floor space, power, and cooling needs and forecasts future demand. 
• Responds to questions and concerns from end users on enterprise scheduler related topics, including troubleshooting and problem solving. 
• Monitors enterprise production jobs to ensure completion.  Provides guidance to other team members with regard to production support and performs defined escalation procedures for both application support and problem notification when applicable. 
• Maintain current knowledge on issues affecting enterprise systems and Data Center management tools. 
• May provide assistance to junior staff with their assigned hardware work orders.  Makes recommendations for proper installations, based on IT best practices. 
• Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a member of the nephrology healthcare team, you will provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. 

•    Sets up, tests, and operates hemodialysis machines for patient treatments.
•    Obtains and documents necessary pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight for each patient.
•    Evaluates vascular access pre-treatment and performs vascular access cannulation.
