There are opportunities to be involved with teaching, MDT simulation sessions, clinical governance and quality improvement projects to strengthen portfolios for applications for training posts, as well as developing technical skills and competencies in Intensive Care Medicine. The successful applicant will join a team of 17 doctors, including HEE trainees from various specialities (ICM, IMT and neurosurgery), Clinical Fellows (ST1+), CESR ICM fellows and senior neuroanaesthesia fellows (ST5+) as part of an EWTD compliant full shift rota. We are currently looking for Health Care Assistants (band 2) to join our team.
We are an established team looking after patients who have undergone surgical procedures and also those with acute /chronic health conditions.

As a health care assistant on ward your responsibilities would be taking observations, assist in patients with personal care and mobility. You will be constantly providing our patients with the highest standard of customer service.
You will be doing a mixture of nights and day shifts.
Experience in healthcare sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

The Nursing Assistant works under the direction or supervision of qualified nurses/midwives to implement care planned by Registered Professionals. The Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) is proactive in monitoring and anticipating patients’ needs within the boundaries of the Job Description

We are looking for a support worker to join the North Living Well Centre team.

The Lambeth Living Well Network Alliance supports people in Lambeth experiencing mental illness. Thames Reach works in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Lambeth NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, Lambeth Council and Certitude to deliver mental health services as part of the innovative transformation of mental health services in the borough.

We will not accept applications where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used to assist with completing the competency questions.

You will:

.Be a capable and enthusiastic support worker
.Be joining the North Living well Centre, a service which is part of the innovative reshaping of Mental Health services in Lambeth.
.Work directly with clinical staff to manage a caseload of people with Mental Health needs in the Lambeth Community, focusing on resolving practical issues and improving their wellbeing and social integration and supporting them the to lead independent lives in the community alongside their GP.
.Work with Staff in the Living well centres supporting clients using mix of brief interventions or longer-term support as needed, delivered by multi-disciplinary teams consisting of support workers, community psychiatric nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, peer mentors and consultants.

To succeed as the Support Worker you will have:

.Knowledge of the needs and hopes of vulnerable people – particularly those with mental health issues and complex needs.
.An understanding of the issues facing vulnerable people and the services they require to address these.
.Experience in working quickly and building relationships in a short period of time.
.Experience in working in partnership with external agencies and health & social care professionals.
.A good understanding of social support needs including the difficulties of social exclusion and housing issues.
