Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present, candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.
As Keane Premier Support Services continually seek to grow, we have new and exciting opportunities for compassionate and hard-working individuals.
As Group Support Worker you will predominantly work as part of the KPSS team to support service users in the community to help promote their independence, however you will also have the opportunity to provide support across different areas of the business such as Care Homes and Head Office (where required).
We are looking for candidates who can work from Friday - Monday 7am - 2pm each week (26 hours p/w) and are happy to work flexibly to business needs, driving will be required as part of this role and a Company car with paid fuel will be included. For candidates who wish to work additional hours we would consider varying this up to full time.

Main responsibilities:
Support Services:
- Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
- Support service users with medication where required.
- Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs.
- Carry out light house duties.
- Assist service users with finances as per company policy.
- Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required.
- Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing.
- Encourage the relationships service users have with family, friends, and wider community.
- At all times, be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
- Report a service users progress on the correct platforms.
Care Homes:
- Where required provide support within Care Homes at Care Assistant level, involving;
- providing personal care and assistance to residents, which can include helping them with showering, dressing, and administering their medication.
- Ensuring resident needs and wishes are met and enabling them to live their best lives.
- Accurately recording and reporting essential information in the residents’ daily report and care plan.
Head Office
- Where support is required for Head Office you will assist with a variety of supportive and administrative tasks such as;
- Reception duties
- General office administration
- Scheduling support.
The Head Office is based in Cambuslang, and we support services across South Lanararkshire.
