I am looking for a special person to manage a friendly 40 bedded care home situated in a pleasant residential area of Newtown conveniently close to a local bus route, with shops nearby.
The relaxed environment means residents feel right at home and the surrounding gardens are beautifully kept, with wheelchair access throughout as well as a pretty courtyard and patio.
This job will involve:
• Using leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care
• Managing the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy
• Providing improvement, independence and choice for Service Users
• Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
For this great post you must have:
• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) (or be working towards this)
• Registration with CIW and be aware of Welsh legislation
• Previous experience of managing or working as a deputy in a care home for older people
• A caring and compassionate nature
