Hours per week: 45.60hrs (4 shifts per week, 07.00 - 19.00, alternate weekends on / off)

Salary: £13.00 - £14.50per hour

About the role:

As a Care Team Leader at Sanders Senior Living, you'll be all about professionalism, kindness, and compassion. The Care Team Leader role requires you to plan and provide high-quality care that makes our residents feel safe, respected, and independent.

You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring they are keeping up with the highest care standards. Keeping accurate records and communicating well with your colleagues are key parts of your role.

Our Care Team Leaders also support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, giving physical, social, and emotional care to residents. You will handle medication and make sure everything is in order with medication audits.

About you:

The ideal Care Team Leader will exude a positive energy, be competent in building strong relationships, and demonstrate outstanding organisational skills.

Holding an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care is essential

Management of the recruitment process for all bank workers. Coordinate the induction and training processes for all Bank workers. Ensure that ongoing training is completed to the required timescales and documented, by monitoring and auditing compliance and attendance. Managing the booking and allocation of Bank and Agency workers (across all staffing groups), ensuring that appropriate approval and governance processes are followed. Ensure that timely responses and ongoing updates are provided to services requesting information or booking of temporary staff, escalating concerns regarding inability to fill at an early stage. Ensure compliance with Health Board policies and procedures, escalating areas of non-compliance or concern to the Resourcing Advisor. Ensure robust audit trails are in place in relation to all Temporary Staffing activity. Process invoices relating to Agency and Locum work across staffing groups, ensuring that requests are recorded and approved appropriately on the system and ensuring timely processing. Assist in the process of verification of Bank worker timesheets, to include study, annual leave and expenses. Monitoring Bank Worker usage, to include, regularity, WTD and volume, ensuring that this is regularly reported to the Resourcing Advisor and escalating to services where appropriate. Assisting in the completion of procurement documentation in relation to the booking of Agency staff, for example, call off contract documents. Support the Resourcing team to ensure appropriate equipment and stock levels are maintained, monitoring stock levels and requesting orders as appropriate.

This is an essential role within the school as you will be one of the first people for parents/carers, pupils and guests to meet or speak to each day. It is therefore very important that you are able to represent the school to the best of your ability and be very approachable in terms of your personality and in the way that you work with your peers. The successful candidate will be able to enjoy working within a committed team and enjoy working near the stunning Brecon Beacons.

Our Learning Disability Support Services provide essential, innovative person centred support for individuals by helping people with learning disabilities/physical disabilities and complex conditions to access to and continue education and development, live in their own tenancies, paid employment opportunities, life skills development and meaningful activities, achieve their desired outcomes and become more involved in their communities. We also support neurodiverse adults with autism (ASD) and behavioural supports (ADHD), often transitioning from school. Autism is not a learning disability but in our rural areas, there are few supports that adults can be signposted to. Many of the people we support also have autism, so individuals are supported by our registered day location teams.

Our HSCP in house registered support locations are SCSWIS (Care Inspectorate) registered providers.

We have multi-trained teams who often support individuals who are unable to be supported by anyone else due to complex issues. However, we often identify people, who may be able to be signposted to our other community support networks or alternatives. We currently require two 35-hour Support Workers for
