Job Title: - Registered Service Manager - Supported Living
Location: Werrington, Peterborough.
Salary: Starting from £38,000

I am currently working with a leading provider in the care industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality and compassionate care services to individuals and communities. With a commitment to excellence, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations.

You will manage a staff team and ensure supervisions, team meetings, work & medication observations, probation and appraisals are all completed in line with KPIs set.

You will ensure that the support delivered to our service users is in line with their agreed care plans, risk assessments, professional guidelines and statutory/legal requirements are met. The safeguarding and well-being of our service users is at the heart of what we do and this needs to be reflected in the support we deliver.

You will be responsible for undertaking assessments of new care packages, attending professional meetings, ensuring all CQC and local authority regulations are met, leading on safeguarding issues/concerns and ensuring all risk assessments are effective and up-to-date. You hold the registration with CQC as the Registered Manager for our supported living services.

You will be required to report to the Group Operations Manager and attend board meetings and senior managers meetings to ensure company developments and improvements are implemented.

With support from within the operations team along with other departments including training, finance, business & HR you will need to be able to work to a varied workload, self-managing your own deadlines and thinking on your feet to problem solve.

Cherry Blossom care home is a purposely built luxury care home in Peterborough. Were looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and create delicious meals that our residents cant wait to return for.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

Our Head Chef will be responsible for:-

Developing and creating menus

Supervision, training and managing kitchen staff.

Monitoring inventory and ordering food and supplies

Overseeing daily operations in the kitchen

Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment

Maintaining the highest standards for food preparation

Enforcing proper food handling protocols

Meeting budget targets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Complete audits daily, weekly and monthly as per requirement.

**Work Hours and Benefits:**

The successful applicant will be expected to work full time, including alternate weekends and early evenings, with the working hours and environment are better than most mainstream hospitality environments.

Benefits include an excellent salary of £22.10 per hour. This equates to a base salary of c£41,300 for a 36-hour working week. We also offer employee insurance, 5.6 weeks of annual holidays, and an excellent career pathway.



**Qualifications:**

Proven track record as a Head Chef in a care home environment

Knowledge of food safety regulations, and special diets.

Experience generating and managing budgets.

Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor kitchen staff.

Exceptional customer service skills

Training and Education:

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Culinary Arts or related field and at least 5 years of kitchen management experience. Any experience with catering services is a plus.

The following are the core responsibilities of the PCN manager. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: PCN DES/Contractual Requirements a. To work closely with the relevant teams and practices to support network implementation and standardisation of agreed service change, contracts, policies, pathways and quality improvement whilst acting as the point of contact for PMs with regard to delivery of a PCN project/scheme b. To co-ordinate the delivery of enhanced services and other service submissions on behalf of the PCN c. To monitor and check the accuracy of the any submissions for enhanced services and contractual requirements on behalf of the PCN and to ensure that all claims are submitted in good time and payment made and received d. To support delivery of QOF, incentive schemes, QIPP and other quality or cost effectiveness initiatives e. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to provide day-to-day managerial supervision to the PCN by leading and supporting quality improvement and performance f. To collate feedback/analysis data on behalf of the PCN to report to the ICB Staff Management/Human Resources g. To support recruitment, induction and training of new PCN staff and to ensure that all have the appropriate qualifications, registrations, training, accreditation and requisite skills to undertake the duties required of them at each practice h. For PCN shared staff, ensure all HR records are complete and in date, for example DBS checks, covid passes, business cover on driving licenses etc. i. To help staff within the PCN to understand and support the delivery of its strategic objectives and outcomes framework Finance j. To monitor expenditure, plan and monitor income and cash flow to ensure that income is maximised and that funds are available as required and practice allocation of resources if fair and equitable k. To ensure financial risks are recognised and appropriate action taken l. To work with the PCN clinical directors and constituent practices for strategic and operational planning processes to support the PCNs objectives o. To establish a business development plan p. To be accountable for all projects and to ensure patient safety and quality of care is always considered and establish necessary monitoring and tracking processes s. To develop and run administrative systems for PCN collaboration projects t. To contribute to public health campaigns (e.g. flu/covid clinics) through advice or direct care Regulatory u. To ensure the PCNs compliance with GDPR and FOI along with other relevant legislation and professional standards from GMC/BMA and LMC guidance v. To review any latest guidance and to liaise with both PCN staff and PM to ensure that all are aware of and conform to NHS E, NICE, CQC requirements w. To manage risks and issues with supporting outcomes. These are to be reported to the PCN clinical director x. To contribute to and embrace the spectrum of clinical governance Complaints y. To assist in the resolution of any complaints, resolving informal complaints locally and assisting in the investigation of and response to formal complaints as required Other z. To develop yourself and the role through participation in training and service redesign activities. aa. To undertake all mandatory training and induction programmes bb. To attend a formal appraisal with the Clinical Directors at least every 12 months.
