Executive Assistant
• NHS Agenda for Change, Band 5 - £28,407 - £34,581 per annum
• Full time - 37.5hrs per week
• Based at Trust HQ, Crawley(with travel across the Trust)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide a high standard of administrative support service to the Executive Office.
The role is fast paced, requires the ability to plan, problem solve and managed a varied workload. The successful post holder will be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and possess effective stakeholder management skills, so as to contribute to the successful running of the Trust as a whole.
You will have extensive experience in diary management and logistical planning for the Executive Office to support in the effective use of time, prioritisation and proactive forward planning.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS

• Chief Executive Officer / Chairman
• Executive Team
• Corporate Governance Team
• Business Support Managers
• Executive Assistants
The successful post holder will be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and possess effective stakeholder management skills, so as to contribute to the successful running of the Trust as a whole.
You will have extensive experience in diary management, arranging meetings and appointments via the calendar system with both external and internal personnel. This will include liaison with government departments and other healthcare related organisations.
You will also have experience of developing and implementing effective systems and strategies to manage the activities, workload and efficient use of time of the Chief Executive Officer. You will provide additional diary and meeting coordination support to the senior management team within the directorate as required.

In addition, you will:
• Be educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Have knowledge and understanding of good governance and Board assurance
• Have experience working in a large, multi-professional organisation, supporting at very senior manager level.
• Be able to prioritise and make judgements involving highly complex or sensitive issues
