About The Company

Fawkes and Reece are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on an exciting and very unique project in North Birmingham value is circa £30m.

About the Senior Quantity Surveyor role

Due to securing an exciting pipeline of projects my client is now looking to strengthen their commercial division with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor who has experience leading teams who is looking for the next step in their career or a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is seeking a new challenge.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor role

• Experience working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor
• Strong negotiating skills
• Commercial astute and have a varied sector experience
• Worked on projects circa £15m and above.
• Experience overseeing more junior member of the team
• Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred but not essential
• UK Driving License.

What we offer for the Senior Quantity Surveyor role

Salary: £65,000- £75,000 DOE - will pay more for exceptional candidates

Our client has offices across Yorkshire. They have an opening in a large branch office close to Huddersfield.
You will be responsible for a mix of general commercial property work, including landlord and tenant, development and investment work. Suitable candidates will be 3 years pqe and over and be comfortable managing some work independently and assisting team members with bigger projects.
This role can be part time and there is some home working. It is likely you will be living in West Yorkshire.

A day in the life of…

As Assistant Area Property Manager you will support all aspects of the Maintenance Departments in our Hotels, Health Clubs & branded Restaurants whilst ensuring all Aimbridge and brand standards are adhered too and understanding there is no such thing as a 'one size fits all solution'

You'll be representing Aimbridge EMEA on a face-to-face basis, utilising your extensive M&E and health and safety experience to provide utility reports, highlight areas of concern and advise Hotel managers of potential savings across multiple sites within our whole EMEA portfolio.

What do we need from you?
