We currently have a rare opportunity for a Commercial Surveyor to permanently join our Strategic Asset Management team.

This is a varied role supporting the Asset Manager to oversee active asset management of the estate with a key focus on asset performance and rationalisation. Some of your daily tasks are to review property performance, conduct detailed option appraisals and manage property disposals and wayleaves.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with various teams across the Group such as Platform Property Care, Lettings, Sustainability, and the Legal team specifically when dealing with historic land use queries. You will also develop and maintain strong working relationships with Local Authorities, buyers, solicitors, and agents.
Some of the things we are looking for:
Proven experience as a Commercial Surveyor (or a similar role), focusing on option appraisals and property disposals
Knowledge of key drivers in property valuation and appraisals
Experience in interpreting contractual documentation, asset related legal documents, plans, leases, deeds in respect of land parcels and assets.
Good written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of parties (inc. stakeholders and employees)
Strong Analytical Skills: To assess and compare various options based on their potential benefits, costs, risks, and impacts
While this role is home based, occasional travel to the Worcester/Solihull offices and properties across our portfolio will be required.
