We are seeking an experienced Senior/Project Manager/Project Director to lead and oversee construction projects, including residential, commercial, and HDB developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee the full project lifecycle from inception to handover, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and control costs to stay within financial guidelines.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow.
- Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient performance and collaboration.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and relevant authorities, ensuring effective communication and project updates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction activities adhere to company standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
- Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with relevant government regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with proven experience in residential, commercial, or HDB projects.
- Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to manage large project teams.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and safety regulations.
