Main responsibilities of the role:
- Act as the Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) lead on strategic bids, defining the overall technology solution and delivery plan.
- Collaborate with bid and business development teams to formulate solutions and cost models that align with Serco’s business strategy.
- Manage the integration of multiple suppliers, ensuring their contributions form a coherent, holistic solution.
- Support Enterprise Architects in maintaining standards and roadmaps, ensuring solutions are aligned with architectural roadmaps.
- Present solution designs and cost models as part of Serco’s bid governance process.
- Provide architectural guidance to mobilisation teams to ensure solutions are delivered in line with the design and support project change control processes.
- Communicate complex technical issues and IT strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
What you’ll need:
- Strong experience in public sector bid development, with a background in delivering integrated solutions from multiple suppliers.
- A degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience, with a robust understanding of modern IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud-based technologies (SaaS, Azure, etc.).
- Proven ability to define technical solutions to business problems and communicate complex details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
