Your new role

What you'll need to succeed
As well as strong communication, organisational and time management skills, you should have:

• An MSc / PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant scientific discipline such as Immunology, Bioinformatics, Data Science or Computational Biology.
• Significant experience in the field of immunoinformatics, preferably including leadership of projects / people / strategy.
• Hands-on experience with using advanced computational techniques or novel statistical methods to assess large biological datasets, preferably within immunology, vaccinology or a related area, eg for immunogenicity
• In-depth understanding of both traditional statistical and modern machine learning applications in immunological studies.
• Comprehensive insight into the architecture and mechanics of antibodies.
• Skilled in the use of computational tools and databases related to the identification of antigens and the formulation of vaccines, with a strong preference for hands-on expertise designing de novo proteins
• Exceptional quantitative acumen, with a knack for strategic analysis and resolution of complex problems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a history of productive teamwork across various scientific disciplines.

Candidates with pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience are preferred for this role, as are those with a track record of antibody design for vaccines, though this is not essential.

Based in Central London this mainstream building structures consultancy are 43 strong and growing. Due to a significant uplift in their workload they are now seeking an Structural Design engineer with temporary works design experience to work alongside one of their Structural Associates.

The role will focus on temporary works on a broad range of projects including large developments in residential as well as education, commercial and mixed use.

HTA Design LLP is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Communications Design, Sustainability, and Planning.

Working alongside senior designers, architects, and planners, the Graduate/Junior Urban Designer will contribute to the design and planning of sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing urban environments. The role will involve developing urban design strategies, creating visual materials, and ensuring that projects align with local and national planning policies.

You will work on a diverse range of projects, including strategic visions, masterplans, feasibility studies, and the production of Parameter Plans and Design Codes for Planning Applications. What you'll be doing;



The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation and management of digital and print designs for our corporate communication, PR, and marketing needs across external, regional, internal communications, and events within Veolia UK & I and act as brand guardian for the Veolia UK & I brand within the Brand & Design Team. This role is split 20% ideation and 80% hands-on creative time.



The responsibilities in the role include being the creative lead on graphic design requests, generating creative ideas which will include and align to our brand strategy, brand proposition, and business strategy, liaising with third party printers and suppliers, and helping to outsource to third party agencies if ever required, supporting the Brand & Design Manager.

• Lead the creative development for a range of digital and print based designs including branding, campaigns, reports, infographics, social media content, presentations, and events, in collaboration with other teams and departments
  
• Manage the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery
  
• Mentor and coach designers in the Brand & Design Team
  
• Ensure brand consistency and a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints (online and offline), which follows brand guidelines
  
• Manage and solidify positive working relationships to with a range of stakeholders and departments on all levels across the wider business
  
• Prepare and present design concepts and rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders; and be able to recommend and explain the benefits and challenges of differing approaches which meet the brief, taking stakeholders seamlessly through the design process
  
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all brand and design work is on track, meets key deadlines, and is of the highest standard
  
  

What we're looking for;

• BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent related field, with over 6 years professional experience and a strong portfolio with a wide range of design skills
  
• Expert user of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite to create a range of print and digital collateral (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  
• Proven ability to take turn complex information into simple, effective and engaging designs
  
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
  
• An understanding of motion graphics and video, with the an initial foundation set of skills using After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
  
• An understanding of UX and UI design; and willingness to use prototyping and UI tools such Figma
  
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative design solutions within tight deadlines
  
• Strong attention to detail, with flawless alignment, layout, aesthetic visuals and execution
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Strong interpersonal skills both within the internal team and with clients and contributors
  
• Professional client service manner and ability to interact with all levels of management
  
• Excellent experience of mentoring and coaching designers, assessing the strengths of individuals
  
• Ability to think strategically, and an understanding of design theory and user-centred design
  
• Ability to research, test and apply best practice solutions to a design
  
• Experience managing projects within budget
  
• Experienced user of MS Word and PowerPoint; Google Slides and Docs; and the ability to create and support templates for business use
  
• Proven willingness to keep up-to-date with and use new technologies, software, trends and techniques

Your new company
It is a well established London practice which is growing rapidly due to new project wins. They primarily work on interesting commercial projects ranging from £8 - £20million MEP value and get a lot of repeat business from the quality of their work. Your new role
You will be working as either a Senior or Principal Engineer in the London office, coming in to help manage projects with a growing work load. They are ideally looking for an experienced Senior Engineer who is looking for a step-up to Principal who can then transition into an Associate role in the next 2 ish years. Ideally, you will be working with Revit and have experience within the commercial market.


What you'll need to succeed
You must be degree or HNC qualified and have at least 7 years experience within a consultancy setting working in Building Services. Candidates will ideally be Chartered, but if not, they are happy to support Engineers to get Chartered. You will ideally have worked on large scale commercial projects in the UK and been client facing in design team meetings. You will also have mentored and helped to progress more junior staff and must be able to maintain and enforce existing systems.
