Position Summary

The Engineer II position is the intermediate level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees in the Engineer II position solve complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with general supervision. An Engineer II is expected to develop advanced skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. An Engineer II effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied. This position will be performing Transmission Line Designs. Required/Basic Qualifications

• Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program

• A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Research Photographers who will support us as we build out an in-depth understanding of the Commercial Real Estate of Dusseldorf and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for ensuring that the CoStar products are representing the most current and accurate information and photographs on Commercial properties and listings through on-site inspections within the assigned geography. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment (Canon R6 and 17-35mm lens or similar, drone where applicable, iPad, laptop, Smartphone, Mobile Wi-Fi and traveling via foot/public transport or hybrid research vehicle when necessary) our Research Photographers canvas the market to identify and capture commercial listings, properties, building attributes, tenants and photographs not represented in the CoStar database. Research Photographers are remotely managed by a Photography Manager.

The drug-product process-modeling team in Worldwide R&D, Pfizer seeks a Senior Scientist (PhD level) to develop new computational models/tools to support the end-to-end development of drug-dosage forms (tablets, capsules, microsphere beads, ointments/creams, oral liquids, etc.). The successful candidate will use modeling and simulation techniques to solve pharmaceutical industrial research problems related to batch and continuous manufacturing with special emphasis on powder flows, mixing, processing and compaction.

Experience with computational techniques is required, such as: discrete element method (DEM), process models and statistical techniques, population-balance models (PBM), computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and engineering models. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with Pfizer project scientist to understand the challenges and needs when developing drug-dosage forms (tablets, capsules, ointments/creams, multiparticulate beads, etc.). Identify opportunities to use engineering knowledge and computational tools to help solve project challenges. Be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, to define the problem statement, then develop and execute a modeling work plan to solve the issue.

Using a variety of computational techniques, develop predictive tools and models to support drug development/manufacturing efforts for the Pfizer portfolio. Modeling techniques include (but not necessarily limited to): discrete element method (DEM),  data science & statistical techniques, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), population-balance models (PBM), and first-principles engineering models.

Plan and execute experimental studies in collaboration with experimental experts to support/validate modeling efforts. Work with Pfizer scientists to apply and implement modeling tools into project workflows.

Communicate and present results internally at meetings and, on occasion, at external forums. Present scientific results to a diverse audience through data analysis and visualizations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

Post-graduate qualification (PhD) in relevant field e.g. chemical, mechanical, pharmaceutical engineering with focus on process modelling. Strong background in numerical methods, programming, and mathematics. Graduate research must be focused on computational modeling of powder flows and granular mechanics. Proficiency in open source and commercially available DEM simulation software, Python and Matlab programming will be very desirable. Must demonstrate good problem-solving skills.

We are looking for Research Photographers who will support us as we build out an in-depth understanding of the Commercial Real Estate of Duisburg and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for ensuring that the CoStar products are representing the most current and accurate information and photographs on Commercial properties and listings through on-site inspections within the assigned geography. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment (Canon R6 and 17-35mm lens or similar, drone where applicable, iPad, laptop, Smartphone, Mobile Wi-Fi and traveling via foot/public transport or hybrid research vehicle when necessary) our Research Photographers canvas the market to identify and capture commercial listings, properties, building attributes, tenants and photographs not represented in the CoStar database. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive or walk assigned submarkets within core territories to collect the required imagery, information and updates – including: identifying new availabilities, missing Inventory, updating construction status, adding up to date high resolution images where required.

The GOATCLOUDS program provides managerial, design, engineering, architectural, technical, implementation and maintenance of an enterprise IT service management system to manage customer IT service requests, and IT management functionality across the enterprise

What You’ll Get to Do:

The System Architect will be doing Unclassified to Classified development. You'll research, analyze, design, build, and maintain networks and computer systems. This may include both hardware and software from conceptualization through maintenance of these systems. The System Architect conducts research and performs trade-off analysis of alternative solutions. The System Architect analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Develops system architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment and system integration. Interacts cohesively with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the end product(s).

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Twenty years (20) years’ experience as a System Architect or Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

• DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

The Data Architect will work within Bison’s Enterprise Architecture practice and collaborate with Continuous Improvement and Development teams as well as business leaders, stakeholders, and vendors to develop strategies and roadmaps. They work to define and maintain architecture artifacts for supporting project delivery and application support and lead technical vision and direction for data solutions, ensuring consistency with overall enterprise and portfolio architecture that may at times include hands-on development. The Data Architect will also have an opportunity to effect change within the organization by incorporating new patterns and/or technologies into new ways of working that improve business value.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Assist in developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation, and management of various systems.
• Identify data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Bachelor Computer Science/Software Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT environments especially in the areas of data management, system development life cycle and data integrations.
• 5+ years of experience in hands-on data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration.
• Experience designing integration solutions, with good understanding of Enterprise Data Integration and Architectural Data Patterns.
• Familiar with architecture quality attributes, their basic tactics, and most-common trade-offs.
• Experience tackling engineering aspects of data including performance, availability, security, resiliency, and maintainability issues.
• Understanding and experience with API Management and enterprise integration platform and design strategies.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with developing technology solutions, including operations, engineering, networking engineering, infrastructure or database architecture, or applications development

• 8+ years of experience with architecture and engineering one or more major cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle

• Experience with architecting and deploying cloud solutions within the government, including federal health clients

• Experience with managing technical implementation, integration, and configuration projects, including development of project plans and system architectures, and updating compliance documentation

• Knowledge of a modern programming language, including Python, Java, C, C++, or C#

• Knowledge of containers and CI/CD pipelines

• Ability to work in a customer-facing or public speaking role
