We are looking for 2 permanent Enterprise Architect posts.
UWE has a strong Strategy 2030 and requires a crack team of architects to help ensure we deliver against it. We’re big into digital transformation, Cloud services, close focus on customer need and making technology both an enabler and joy to use.After a few years of building our foundational work, we’re launching Enterprise Architecture 2.0 – an exciting vision for composable digital services that help deliver our business strategy.
About you: You will have experience of being an architect or having demonstrated architectural thinking. You may be TOGAF or SAFe certified.
You will be a problem solver with mental flexibility and dexterity. You will be a great communicator, both verbally and in written form. You will be awesome at dealing with stakeholders, both business and IT.
You will be interested in the mission – students and their outcomes. If you’ve worked for shareholder value in the past, the work at UWE directly benefits the people you do it for.
Hybrid working – largely remote with travel to campus as required. If you’d prefer you can work on campus as much as you like.
Where is this role based?
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed – £300m has been invested in new state-of-the-art learning spaces and accommodation while we continue to develop incredible new facilities to enhance our offer even further.
Frenchay campus has excellent transport links; as well as being located near the motorway network we are within walking distance of two train stations, our bus terminus connects us to the local bus and metrobus network and we also have a range of cycling and changing facilities.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.
This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
