Due to a strong pipeline of projects Clarke Energy is seeking an Electrical Design Draftsperson to join their dynamic engineering team, for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit. Reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation of design plans, detailed drawings and provide electrical document support to the electrical project team. Key duties
Preparation of design plans, drawings, layouts, material lists, job files, and documentation associated with projects, tenders or technical support.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings for electrical systems, single lines, control schematics, cable schedules, block diagrams, system architecture and termination diagrams.
Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors at design stage.
Provide electrical design support to electrical supervisor for installation.
Procurement of bill of material items for construction.
Control and maintain drawing files and maintain accurate drawing register.
Telephone enquiries from subcontractors carrying out electrical and control works for CEA.
About you
Demonstrated industry experience with sound knowledge of industrial turnkey projects
AutoCAD (essential)
ePlan P8 (desirable)
Report writing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Initiative and problem solving ability
Computer literate: Microsoft Suite
Drivers License
