Main duties and responsibilities To work as a member of the team but be able to work without direct supervision. As this post holder is often the first point of contact to the Head of Clinical Transformation, the post holder will therefore need to have excellent interpersonal and telecommunication skills.

The Respiratory Physiology Administrator will work as part of the Respiratory Physiology multidisciplinary team within the Internal Medicine Clinical Service Unit (CSU), under the direction of the Senior Chief Respiratory Physiologist, and will provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.

To book patients into Outpatient Diagnostic Test appointments in accordance with Trust and National targets and policies.

· Monitor, manage and prioritise own workload, escalating to Senior Chief Respiratory Physiologist when departmental KPIs are likely to breach

· Following a “Partial Booking” plan (booking appointments six weeks in advance only), book new and follow up appointments, ensuring that capacity is proactively and efficiently used. You will be skilled in processing invoices to facilitate seamless payments, invoice matching and reduce notifications within the Trusts E-Procurement system. Able to manage and influence internal customer expectations as well as maintaining good supplier relationships.

• Assist with resolving Purchase order invoice queries, via notifications and on hold reports, communicating with end users and suppliers to ensure prompt payment.
• Closing down old purchase order
• Work closely with SBS to resolve invoicing issues.
• Communicate with Suppliers and other Trust staff when an incorrect PO invoice process has been used.
• Provide cover for General Office
