This position is a mission critical occupation and is responsible for ensuring that operational and fiscal activities align with and enable accomplishment of Health Resources and Services Administration's mission, goals and objectives.
As an Administrative Officer, you will provide advice and assistance on administrative management matters.
Your major duties and responsibilities may include:
- Providing typical budgetary and financial management services
- Performing typical human resources services and/or functions, including FTE and non-FTE Management, management liaison and consulting, orientation, and separation services for employees, and preparing and processing HR actions/documentation.
- Providing typical purchasing/procurement/contract administration.
- Serving as the POC for timekeeping system and overseeing other timekeepers in the proper use of federal Time & Attendance systems.
- Interpreting policies, procedures, and practices concerning all aspects of federal travel, local, sponsored, domestic and/or foreign, and reimbursement for travel expenses for all orders and vouchers within the assigned areas.
