Responsibilities

Ensure medical samples and reports are handled and transported safely, accurately, and promptly to diagnostic lab and GP clinics. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, and adherence to strict protocols to maintain sample integrity and patient confidentiality.

• Organizing logistics of sample collection and transportation.
• Managing paperwork, including labelling, tracking forms and ensuring all samples are documented and accounted for.
• Adhering to PDPA policy, ensure no breach of patient confidentiality.
• Ensure that medical samples and reports are delivered timely.
• Perform simple verification checks on the recipient before handing over item(s)
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

• Valid car license (Class 2A/2B) with good driving records
• Must have own motorbike
• N/O Level certificate
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with Singapore roads
• Able to work independently

• Load vehicles with correct product to meet customer order specifications
• Safely Unload and load vehicles.
• Ensure any discrepancies are identified and rectified before closing load.
• Keep accurate and legible records.
• Be trained to operate a fork lift truck or electric palletiser.
• Convey wrapped pallets to floor scales for weighing.
• Accountable for ensuring hygiene expectations are met and followed appropriately, you will be responsible for keeping the respected are clean and tidy.

Great opportunity to work as a Despatch Operative for our client a leading beef processing site.

Staffline is recruiting Despatch Operatives to work at ABP in Shrewsbury.

This is a full-time role with fixed, guaranteed shifts.

Day shifts:
- Monday to Saturday, 7am - 3:30pm with one weekday and every Sunday off.

The rate of pay for day shifts is £12.24 per hour and overtime is paid at £17 per hour
- Sundays and Bank holidays are paid at £22.66 per hour.

Your Time at Work

As a Despatch Operative, you will be responsible for:

- Packing and building orders for Despatch to customers
- Preparing, checking, and verifying stock
- Palletise and locate stock when necessary in accordance with specifications.
- Ensuring stock is picked in rotation and pallets are prepared ready for despatch.
- Use correctly and prevent damage to equipment, vehicles and machinery where applicable. Report any issues immediately to your supervisor.
- Keep work areas tidy and clean at all times.
- Ensuring the correct handling, palletising and storage of products to company and customer requirements in a manner that does not jeopardise product quality.
- Maximise best use of storage facilities i.e. racking, floor space, external storage, containers and loading bays.
- Carrying out any additional duties that may be reasonably requested

Our Perfect Worker

You will need good communication skills and the ability to work in a team as well as independently. You should be self-motivated and responsible with a keen eye for detail. You will also need to ensure good housekeeping standards and work within Health and Safety guidelines.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
