This really is an exciting time to join the Recovery Focussed Team during this period of ongoing investment and development. The Recovery Focussed Team is an all age adult ( 18+) Secondary Mental Health Community Team providing care to individuals with a variety of mental health problems including psychosis, complex emotional needs and organic conditions. What skills and experience we're looking for

Outwood Academy Foxhills, seeks applications from outstanding applicants with integrity, imagination and energy for this rewarding role. Outwood Academy Foxhills, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire is within easy reach of Lincoln, Grimsby and the east of Doncaster. In its most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2022 the Academy was judged to be Outstanding in all areas.

The MFL department at Outwood Academy Foxhills is a small and friendly department with 4 members of staff; 2 part time and an Assistant Principal. We offer French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4, with all teachers offering both languages to at least KS3. All Year 7 students study both languages and then pick one or both at the end of Year 7. We hope to grow a cohort of dual linguists to be future A level and University language students - imagine!

Each member of our department has their own room equipped with an interactive whiteboard and visualiser and we share an office with the Humanities department which provides a quiet working space. Members of the department are provided with SOLs and we share planning to support each other. We run enrichments at both KS3 and KS4 after school and have recently subscribed to Languagenut to extend our student's learning at home.

The successful candidate will be able to teach French and Spanish at KS3 and at least one at GCSE level. They will be passionate about all aspects of languages, be a team player, and be able to support the development of students’ cultural capital. As such, candidates applying should hold a degree in Modern Foreign Languages or be able to evidence sufficient expertise in French or Spanish. Additionally, candidates should have achieved or be in the process of achieving a postgraduate teaching qualification.

Come and join us! We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Night Hygiene Operative to join our team in Scunthorpe

• This post is working nights
• The hours of work and shift patterns are 22:00pm to 06:00am, Monday to Friday
• The rate of pay is: £13.20 per hour

Main Responsibilities:

As a Night Hygiene Operative, you will:

• Carry out cleaning in all areas in accordance with cleaning schedules
• Handle chemicals when cleaning different areas
• Be acccountable for ensuring the chemicals are used responsibly and appropriately in order to avoid any potential health risks to yourself/others
• Ensure all the equipment in the factory (machinery, belts, etc.) is cleaned to a high standard - full training and PPE will be provided
• Ensure customer specifications are met (Quality of cleaning standards meets and exceeds expectations)
• Complete daily hygiene control sheets
• Carry out relevant corrective action within an agreed timescale
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Ensure water usage is kept to a minimum & chemical is used at the correct concentration.
• Be comfortable to work in confined spaces
• Be comfortable working at height
• Be happy to work in hot and cold environments

Come and join us! We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in Scunthorpe.

• This post is working a 4 on 4 off, 12 hour days and nights shift pattern (0700-1900/1900-0700)
• The rate of pay is £21.05 per hour
• 20 days annual leave

Main Responsibilities:

As a Multi Skilled Engineer at our Scunthorpe site you will be working on a range of food processing and packaging equipment.

Part of a large 80 Strong engineering team, you’ll be joining a team of engineers on shift to respond to breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance and complete rectification work with the aim to minimise equipment downtime and maximise the condition and lifespan of equipment.

We are a fast-moving business so you need to enjoy working at pace and have dedication to take action and achieve results.

Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful, but not essential.

Ideal Candidate:

Our ideal Multi Skilled Engineer, you will have the following skills:

Essential

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in either a mechanical or electrical discipline
• Experienced in fault finding and repairs on either mechanical or electrical systems
• Previous on the job experience working in an engineering position
• Strong problem solving skills

Desired:

• Proficient in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
• Apprentice trained
• Previous experience within the food industry
• 17th Edition or 18th Edition Electrically competent
• Boiler management – SOBA / BOAS desirable
• SIGMA / 5S knowledge desirable
• IOSH trained
• Understanding of Root Cause Analysis techniques; fix the cause not the symptom
