Duties include but not limited to:
Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising the delivery of care to employees. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team. Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
- Functions as facility Employee Occupational Health nurse, working in collaboration with EOH Clinicians and the Medical Director.
- Supports the delivery of Employee Occupational Health services, including triaging employees with illnesses and injuries, COVID testing and providing vaccinations.
- Functions as a consultant in health promotion and disease prevention and uses advanced clinical knowledge/judgment to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate programs to promote healthy behaviors among employees.
- Manages the annual Employee Influenza vaccination campaign.
- Maintains CWM EOH Sharepoint with current information for staff
- Performs data collection and analysis to determine employee health needs and expectations for the occupational health and employee wellness program. Based on this information, develops, implements, and evaluates activities for effectiveness.
- Facilitates the Employee Wellness Committee, working with interdisciplinary health professionals to develop mission, goals, and annual strategic action plan.
- Understands workman's compensation laws; local, state, and federal regulatory requirements; and systems for maintaining health records.
- Collaborates with appropriate human resource/administrative personnel as well as Safety and Infection Prevention.
- Will facilitate staff wellness offerings, and address AES outcomes along with Employee Whole Health committee
- Attends Whole Health executive committee monthly meetings and reports data on EWH.
- Maintains EWH intranet site current, and advertise offerings to staff as appropriate
- Attends and participates in the annual Whole Heath fair event, along with whole health staff*Attends New employee orientation and presents to new CWM staff on whole health principles, services and trainings as well as Occupational Health services
