CMA is delighted to be partnering with an established, not for profit, Portsmouth based organisation, for the recruitment of an Finance Assistant and join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
Working closely alongside the Assistant Accountant and Financial Controller, you will be an important addition to the team, where you will assist with all aspects of the accounts and payroll function.
What will the Finance Assistant role involve?
• Process mixed value purchase ledger invoices;
• Raising sales invoices and dealing with queries;
• Preparing BACS run and making payments;
• Performing statement and bank reconciliations;
• Assist the monthly payroll and all associated calculations.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy: • Possess strong, transactional / ledger experience;
• Fully IT literate including intermediate Excel;
• Knowledge of Sage systems preferred but not essential;
• Possess strong communication skills and drive to learn new skills.
Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Assistant • Salary of £25,000 -£28,000 per annum depending on experience;
• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am -4pm, 30 mins lunch;
