The job of the Pastry Chef is the production of the most creative pastries and deserts, for the enjoyment of our guests. You will also supervise, plan, organize, direct, and participate in the centralized production of highly specialized bakery and pastry menu items. The Pastry Chef will also take on the responsibility of organizing and leading training sessions for the members of their team.

• Ensure the effective implementation of all operational security procedures within the hotel.
• Management and security oversight of all contractors, suppliers or vendors working on property.
• To maintain a close dialogue and relationship with local security authorities.
• Ensure that security officers provide a courteous and professional service to all customers, staff, vendors and suppliers.
• To monitor the car-park system and ensure its smooth running and security
• To vet the daily functions and VIP arrival list and to ensure that security officers are deployed as appropriate
• To account for the master keys of the property and their movements as well as key control in general.
• To keep the hotel senior management informed on all matters relating to the Security aspects of the hotel on a daily basis.
• Review and suggest adjustment to process based on current/future environments.

Incident/Emergency Handling

• Incidents and Emergencies are emotionally charged situation, particularly when there are allegations of theft.  All guests, staff or other people involved must be dealt with sensitively and professionally so as not to inflame the situation.
• To professionally conduct full inquiries and follow-up activities for all security related incidents.
• As required, to carry out formal searches on employees, locker rooms and place of work as directed by hotel management, with the presence of Human Resources Executive as a witness.  All people interviewed or searched are to be presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
• To organize the Security Fire Fighting Team in the event of an emergency.

Employee Management

• To guide, supervise and motivate the performance of all security personnel.
• To plan and carry out regular training for security personnel, involving other managers of the hotel as required.
• Brief the Security Officers daily on duties required of them.  Ensure that all Security staffs are at area of their assignment and are have the information and equipment required to do their jobs. 

•Prepare month-end & year-end closing journals

•Compile financial reports for management in accordance to policies & procedures

•Ensure bank sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely and accurate manner

• Support the annual budgeting process and financial forecast for the operations departments
• Ensure that all operations departments are maximizing revenue and profit potentials while minimizing costs and staying within budget guidelines
• Develop, recommend, implement and manage the operational department’s annual and long term goals
• Anticipate and address guest issues, establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction

• Ensures administrative and operation cost figures are correctly recorded and

  relevant expenses accounted.

• Ensures the accurate recording of all sundry and consumable goods purchased.

• Provides daily cost of all sundry and consumable goods issued to various hotel

  departments.

• Monitors daily input of stock movement (purchasing, receiving, issuing, transfers)into computer system on a cost basis.

• Analyzes food and beverage costs weekly.

•Coordinate and monitor major group movements for meetings and conferences, and ensure that action plans cover all areas of operations •

•Makes courtesy calls to VIPS, long stay and corporate guest to obtain feedback and pro-act to handle any lapses in service standards

•Handle all guest correspondences and ensure prompt follow-ups

You will monitor all arrivals, ensuring all guest requests are carried out smoothly and that all reservations are dealt with as efficiently as possible.

As Reservations Supervisor you will directly support the Reservations Manager in driving the performance of the reservations team on property. You will ensure that all SOP's are being adhered to. You will further be responsible for maintaining and improving reservations operations to ensure a high degree of accuracy in guest reservations, maximising revenue opportunities and satisfaction of guests and team members. You will ensure monitoring of daily arrivals for all guest requests to be carried out and communicated to. You will be responsible for the inventory management, including allotments, groups blocks and rate codes in all applicable systems. You will assist the Reservations Manager for driving up- selling within the property and to ensure optimal use of all distribution channels, e.g. IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, Small Luxury Hotels, Regional and Corporate Sales Offices.

•Develops a food and beverage operating strategy that is aligned with the brand’s business strategy and leads its execution.

•Supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.

•Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.

•Maintain complete knowledge of the following (to include but not limited to)

•Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner using Hotel’s telephone etiquette guidelines. Handle telephone enquiries according to departmental procedure

•Liaise with banquet team to ensure correct set-up of function to meet clients’ needs

•Arrange site inspections for potential clients

•Acknowledge and handle guests’ complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently. Report incidents or other irregularities to management

As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for one of the biggest departments in the hotel. Your influence on the team will ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience. You will be in charge of the entire housekeeping team and ensure due to your excellent knowledge and management skills that all guest rooms and public areas are sufficiently cleaned and up to the high standards. Further you will provide the team members with guidance and training , implement SOPs and ensure well maintained guest facilities.

• Conduct departmental daily briefings to ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members
• Supervise team members to ensure that all tasks assigned/required in the outlet are carried out on time and according to instruction and departmental standards
• Handle guests’ complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently
• Handle all administration work pertaining to cashier/bar operation requirement and company’s policies
• Check the supply of equipment/stock level and ensure that there is no shortage of items which have impact on the operation and guests
