This position is located in the Decision Writing Unit, National Case Assistance Center, Office of Hearings Operations (OHO). The incumbent is responsible and accountable for the overall program management, direction, planning, objectives, policy-making and coordination of the National Case Assistance Center. The incumbent assumes full responsibility for operations in the absence of the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst and acts on all matters with full authority of commitment within assigned jurisdiction.

Confers with the radiologist(s) to establish requirements with reference to contrast agents, vital signs, medications, and physiological monitoring to perform the procedure(s). The technologist(s) is available to assist and 'scrub with the radiologist during sterile procedures on an as needed basis.
• Registers patient and procedure(s) in the DHCP System, Radiology Package, and enters case number to case edit the patient's file and indicate that the procedure has been completed.
• Performs technical and general operation and maintenance of the computer, disk drives, console, imaging devices, etc. Assists manufacturer and biomedical engineers in the calibration and troubleshooting of any malfunctions in all equipment associated with the angiographic system.
• Ensures compliance with infection control standards and practices and all policies of the VA and Radiology Department.
• Routinely replenish section stock items/supplies at the end of each shift.
• Assists physicians and other investigators in the development and execution of research protocols and maintaining the records as necessary to validate the research project or funding grant. In addition, the incumbent assists and develops training programs for general clinical employees.

The Nurse Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Outpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing specific care to primary care patients. This nurse provides direct Veteran care and care coordination, as it pertains, to Veterans and their care within the Primary Care Department. Manages assigned panel(s), utilizes registries, and ensures appropriate evaluation and access is provided to patient panels. This nurse provides health promotion, health education and coaching on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic care management. The nurse is responsible for delivering and improving holistic, and primary care through collaborative strategies with members of the patient care team. The (PACT) RN is also is also responsible for improving Veteran driven care by resolving experience issues such as coordination of care, timeliness or process issues, common themes of dissatisfaction, or environment of care concerns within the immediate practice setting.

Preferred Experience: 2 years RN experience in the area of Urgent Care, Primary Care, Nursing Homes and/or Emergency Room.

As a FINANCIAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN (TITLE 5), GS-0503-8, you will perform broad-in-depth financial analysis of inter-related accounting, logistics and computer file systems concerning pay, accounts payable, and various travel entitlements, using multiple procedures, processes and techniques to evaluate alternatives and arrive at decisions, conclusions and recommendations. Analyze diverse financial management technical methods, techniques, precedent cases, and procedures to resolve an extensive range of difficult financial technical issues or problems.
