Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Social Worker in this team, you’ll:

Offer support and supervision to your team of Social Workers and Senior Practitioners
-
Lead, coach, and support them to deliver for our communities ensuring we meet the needs of the people we support and their families
-
Co-ordinate, oversee and make clear decisions in managing work and allocation
-
Have a passion for supporting adults to achieve their full potential and want to gain further experience in improving outcomes
-
Have the chance to support adults from the very start of their journey, reviewing their goals and ambitions
-
Continue to promote independence and opportunities, ensuring that these have positive outcomes
-
Undertake assessments, support planning, review and case management to support adults with a learning disability and/or autism ensuring that they, their families/carers and the people important to them are supported to live the life that they want to live
The Ideal CandidateYou'll need a professional social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS) or other social work qualification certified by Social Work England
Whether you’ve managed and mentored a team before or you're looking to take your first steps in developing your management skills this is a great opportunity for an experienced Social Worker looking to move up in your career and progress in your profession.
