Job Overview
Job objectives and responsibilitiesResponsibility and accountability for; requesting, chasing, troubleshooting and obtaining, compliant references, within client SLA date. Ensuring the on time delivery of high integrity, fully compliant background check dossiers to our clients. This should be undertaken in the most expedient and cost-effective manner possible. Providing a high level customer service carefully managing the applicant experience and guiding each applicant through the multitude of checks that require their direct involvement and also to ensure they understand and are comfortable with their progress through the process.
Main Duties
- Responsible for the on time completion and delivery of robust, high integrity and compliant dossier submissions.
- Researching the right people to provide compliant references and obtaining their full contact details. Speaking to potential referees and persuading them to provide an admissible reference.• Review all tasks daily - Requesting references, Chasing references via the phone, responding to applicant and referee emails. Ensure everything has been completed within the specified SLA's.
- Strong knowledge of, correct application and adherence to the appropriate referencing rules and client requirements.• Utilise our own in-house portal to track all activities in relation to applicants and the progress of their background checking in a clear and concise manner.• Providing telephone advice and guidance to customers throughout the process in a professional and caring manner.• Accepting receipt of a reference on behalf of the company, after ensuing that it is 100% compliant.• Dealing with any applicant concerns in a sensitive manner.• Assembly of each reference within a final application, in order to produce an admissible dossier for a client and/or regulator.• Final checking of dossiers before being submitted to our clients.
- Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security policies, standards and procedures.
- Report actual and suspected security incidents to the Information Security team.
