Aramark UK are recruiting a General Retail Assistant to join their fantastic team at RAF Leeming, Northallerton DL7 9NJ.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating tills, checking stock, restocking goods, arranging merchandise displays, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and tidy workspace.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

⦁ This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, (5 days over 7, some weekends). Shifts range between 06:30 and 21:30, leaving some evenings free

A day in the life of a General Retail Assistant:
⦁ Serving customers, taking payments, and keeping accurate records. ⦁ Receiving and putting out deliveries, restocking goods and ensuring attractive displays of merchandise. ⦁ Stock taking, ordering, and notifying line manager of any deficient goods. ⦁ Cleaning front and back of house areas, keeping shop and stock rooms tidy. ⦁ Reporting to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified in the workplace. ⦁ Following food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements. ⦁ Learning to open and close the retail unit.
You will be set up for success if you have:
⦁ Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided! ⦁ Customer service experience desirable ⦁ Must be comfortable working alongside a team and occasional lone working ⦁ You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.
