Pinnacle Group are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead our Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Group Financial Controller will lead the financial operations of the Group, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, regulatory compliance and effective financial management. Heading a Finance team of eleven across Working Capital, Management Accounting and Statutory Reporting, this role requires strong leadership to drive team performance, meet reporting objectives and foster professional growth of the team in line with the Group’s performance management framework. This is a pivotal role in supporting the Group’s strategic goals and ensuring sustained financial health.
The successful candidate will be of exceptional calibre and will be very detail orientated, hands on and leading in a similar-sized business or industry. This is a hybrid role with frequent travel into our Holborn Head Office expected.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax, audit, and financial reporting requirements.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Strategic Planning: Support the CFO and executive team in strategic planning and decision-making, providing financial analysis and insights.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other stakeholders as required.
Key requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (preferably ACA) is essential.
• At least 5 years in a senior financial management role. Experience in a similar-sized business or industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency in financial software.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
