Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- Responsible for the monitoring of HAS functions performed by HAS and Non-HAS staff.
- Participates in data validation activities which include the analysis of resource allocation data, extracting workload and funding information, which impacts the hospital as well as those areas supported by HAS software (e.g., outpatient clinics, bed services, etc.)
- Develops and implements ongoing monitors relative to RPM data validation to ascertain the accuracy of data provided to VA Headquarters for allocation purposes.
- Presents findings of these monitors to management, service chiefs, physicians, and others who would benefit from this information.
- Responsible for determining and granting access to HAS VISTA software applications.
- Coordinates granting of access to Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) databases for purpose of eligibility determination.
- Responsible for local support of National Enrollment software and activities.
- Coordinates workload capture and transmissions from all treatment locations and services, including remote Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) ensuring successful workload transmission prior to established close out dates.
- Assists staff in analyzing workload trends, projecting inpatient and outpatient activities, compares and contrasts current and historical budget and workload data.
- Reviews, verifies, and analyzes data submitted for consistency with financial and program objectives and assures adherence to VA and VISN directives.
- Responsible for generation and validation of data collected as it relates to HAS and makes statistical analyses of the data collected. Reliability of this function is key to VlSN in measurement of the Medical Center.
- Ensures that all HAS-related VISTA patches are installed in a timely manner, coordinating efforts with Information Management service.
- Serves as site administrator for the PRN system and is responsible for managing and updating the system.
- All other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
