Preceptorship Period Post-Training We think it is important that our trainees get continued time and space to learn their craft and have the time to be able to reflect on their cases and build their clinical confidence. After the training is complete, we will continue to support you to consolidate your learning. Following successful completion of the course, all of our practitioners have built in CPD per annum, additional regular CPD sessions, free access to the Bespoke CPD package where they can access upcoming and previous specialised CBT training from global leading academics and clinicians. About the school:

Woodhead Primary is situated on the outskirts of Hamilton to the south. The school serves a catchment area comprising private and council housing and covers Woodhead, Meikle Earnock, Torhead Farm, Avon Grove and part of Fairhill.

Purpose of the post:

With our academy expanding in size, the successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time. They will be responsible to the Headteacher at Inspire Academy for teaching in one of our classes (x10 pupils) where pupils have a range of SEMH needs (mainly ASD). They will be delivering a range of secondary subjects and associated qualifications to learners at KS3 and KS4, who may be learning at pre-secondary levels, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our learners. All learners at Inspire Academy have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).

The purpose of the post is to secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources and ensure improved standards of learning and achievement for all learners. The post holder will ensure a cohesive and personalised programme of learning and social activities for Inspire Academy learners, in line with the national curriculum. The post holder will also have some pastoral responsibility and strive to ensure strong parent/carer relationships and have strong communication skills.
