Reporting to the Portfolio General Manager for Capitaland, we are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to join our dynamic professional team. This role is suitable for an astute & experienced operational professional, who understands the intrinsic nature of an established building & the requirements of a 5 star property.

This role will focus on developing and executing growth strategies, expanding market presence, and establishing strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in enzyme applications in animal nutrition and a keen understanding of the feed industry landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the business strategy for enzyme products targeted at the feed industry, with an emphasis on growth, market share expansion, and competitive positioning.
• Market Development: Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for enzyme products in animal nutrition, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability.
• Business Development: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key feed industry stakeholders, including feed mills, producers, and distributors; drive strategic partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
• Product Management: Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to ensure enzyme products meet industry standards, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Sales & Revenue Growth: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, working closely with Sales and Marketing to drive customer engagement and product adoption in the feed market.
• Customer Engagement: Stay attuned to the evolving needs of customers in the animal feed industry; serve as a bridge between customers and R&D for feedback on product performance and innovation needs.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to achieving business goals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Biotechnology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in agribusiness, animal nutrition, or feed industry, with a focus on enzyme or biotech products.
• Proven track record in business development, strategic planning, and leadership in the feed or biotech industry.
• In-depth understanding of enzyme applications in feed, nutritional requirements, and feed industry regulations.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

As Director of Sales, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and enhancing our market presence at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Sunshine Coast Convention Centre. This pivotal role involves developing effective sales strategies and fostering strong partnerships to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Sales Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies for both the Resort and Convention Centre to capitalize on opportunities and increase profitability.
• Budget Management: Oversee all Sales and Conference & Events budgets, ensuring financial targets are consistently met.
• Collaborate with Marketing: Partner with the Portfolio Marketing Team to execute integrated Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, and digital initiatives effectively.
• Revenue Team Partnership: Work closely with the Revenue team to create targeted action plans by segment, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer relationship on a Global basis and will act as the key escalation point globally for all product programs, projects, and operational performance issues.
• Facilitate collaborative communication between all functional areas within a location / business group/vertically integrated organization.
• Facilitate external two-way communication between Customer and Flex Sites.
• Manage the process to ensure Customers expectations are clearly defined, understood, and communicated across the appropriate Flex Organizations
• Work with Operations globally to ensure the appropriate Project Managers and project resources are assigned to all customer projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Business; MBA is preferred.
• Typically requires 10 years of progressively advancing account management and/or business development experience.
• Demonstrated experience in working within cloud, enterprise, compute customers as a Program Manager or Global Program Manager.
• Experience building relationships while working directly with customers.
• Experience managing a local team and Experience with Finance/Quoting.
• Ability to Travel & Work non-traditional hours.
