My client is an Insurance SaaS provider that is looking for a passionate Senior Account Manager to join their team.

Insurance software industry or software industry experience working with enterprise level clients is essential to this role.

You will be someone who is very energetic and feels passionately about sales, in particular quality account management.

You will work with enterprise level clients, driving total contract value (TCV).

You will strategically plan your approach to clients and offer software solutions to cater for their needs. You are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships to meet sales targets.

Sales can vary from small changes on accounts, all the way to £1m transformation initiatives.

Your relationship with key accounts will make a signficant difference to the overall turnover from these accounts. This role will be about bringing your passion and energy into your work, and maximising these accounts.

They are now searching for a VAT Manager/AD to join them on a hybrid-working basis at their Birmingham office to continue their development and deliver premium services to their clients.

Your new role
As a VAT Manager/AD, you will be in control of VAT client work, ensuring all assignments are reviewed and prepared to the highest standards. You will participate in detailed planning as well as implementation of VAT work, ensuring all is achieved within timeframes and budgets specified. Day to day tasks will also include working closely with Partners ensuring agreed expectations are achieved, and more junior colleagues ensuring work is reviewed and any queries answered, while developing and advancing own knowledge. Your tasks will also include being a main point of contact for your clients.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful client will have solid and demonstrable VAT experience, and effective team leadership skills. The client is also looking for ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified candidates. You should also possess experience in client handling and project management.

Your new role
As an Associate Director within the Corporate Tax team, you will be a key part of a high performing tax compliance and advisory team. You will have the opportunity to work on your very own client portfolio and deliver premium tax compliance services while adding technically accurate, clear, and concise tax advice on a range of issues (which can include international expansion, transfer pricing, and R&D tax relief to name a few). In your new role, you will also be working closely with the partners and directors from other service lines in order to support business development within your region.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role, the client is looking for ACA and/or CTA qualified candidates, with demonstrable experience of a client/customer facing role within corporate tax compliance. The ideal candidate will also possess tax advisory experience in technical matters, as well as experience in client handling and business development. Previous experience of working at management level (or similar) will also be necessary.

To be considered for this role, you will have strong technical knowledge of UK's R&D tax and experience in the preparation of R&D claims. The successful candidate will also have a clear and concise writing style with experience of responding to HMRC queries. Meanwhile, the ideal candidate will also have computer science/similar degree and possess some previous experience of working within the software or IT industry.
