Job Summary: 

You will be responsible for managing the performance of the delivery staff in such a way that quality, productivity, billing/FTE, cost of delivery performs best in class for the sector managed. 

You will support the development of strategic relationships with clients, monitor current service levels as well as support further business development opportunities with those clients.

Responsibilities (how we will measure success) 

• Have a strategic view of business requirements.  

• Drive transformational changes were required to achieve Front Office/Client specific requirements.

• Work with remote teams / other offices to deliver client and internal requirements.

• Reporting to the Country MD and functional relationship with finance, compliance, and sales.

• Responsible for the quality control in the entire delivery function on the basis of quality assurance standards set by the functions, internal audit, and compliance. 

• Ensure that the functions’ knowledge sharing task, as well as the standards for methodology and boilerplates, are implemented and sustained. 

• Actively participate in account management teams to drive quality deliverables of large clients. Ensure that resource capacity and demand in quantity and skills are matched. This is both real-time and forward-looking for recruitment purposes. 

TFGI is hiring an Institute Director to work closely with the Executive Director, the Board of Directors, and the Advisory board, to execute the Institute’s mandate and drive day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Executive Director to build TFGI's reputation for evidence-driven, balanced and policy relevant work that is best-in-class in terms of originality, significance and rigour
• Work with Executive Director to engage the TFGI Board, Advisors, stakeholders
• Manage TFGI’s administrative, governance and professional functions and steward TFGI’s budget prudently with overall P&L responsibility to ensure that the Institute is on track to deliver on financial and impact targets
• Lead research/thought leadership programmes end-to-end, from conceptualisation to evaluation
• Direct day-to-day operations to maintain pace and quality of work
• Manage and develop the TFGI team so that they deliver on their responsibilities and grow personally and professionally

We are looking at the person to be the lead for a Tech/Telco + some FMCG clients in the Philippines. The person would be responsible for understanding the client business and translating the same into insights and new revenue for NielsenIQ. Also, integrating insights from across studies (qual and quant) to deliver value to the clients.

Business Development:

• Identify areas of opportunity for growth from existing clients managed
• Develop plans to cross-sell and introduce new services to current clients
  • Foster relationships at different levels and functions of the client organization (as applicable) to identify opportunities for incremental product/solution sales
• If possible, provide continuous feedback on competitive activities within assigned clients.

Client Servicing:

• Implement plans that will contribute to maximum client satisfaction and ensure continuous profitable and business growth.
• Ensure client service standards are implemented and enhanced as client expectations continue to evolve and change
• Lead the client servicing team and work closely with operations to ensure our commitments are met.
• Liaise with teams outside Philippines (e.g. analytics, subject-matter experts, etc. to ensure the solutions are best adapted to meet client’s needs)
• Provide product solutions and benefits to client business issues/opportunities by developing strategic initiatives for each client
• Oversee the management and conduct of assigned research projects including preparation, approval, and delivery of proposals, reports, and presentations
• Ensure team members are trained/ coached to handle client requirements.
• Ensure adherence to the company policies on business conduct/ethics.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Financial & process related:

• Ensure attention to costing & pricing at a project level – keeping in view total client relationship & implication on the total business.
• Contracts are completed and approved according to company's policies and guidelines.

People Management:

• Utilize the NielsenIQ framework to communicate and assess performance objectives, competency lists and development plans for your team.
• Ensure effective performance management system is implemented and aligned with regional directions in order to recognize desired performance for business advantage
• Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
• Contribute to development and implementation of training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow
• Provide support, recognition, and feedback to assist associates in achieving the performance expectations and standards
• Act as coach, guide, and mentor to employees
• Ensure that associates are aware of the nature of their specific roles in relationship to the local market, the sub-region and overall regional operation
