OVERVIEW:

The Operations Director is overall responsible for overseeing the successful running of the Domestic / Cross Border Operations of the company, which includes Air and Ocean Freight operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

· Provide leadership & decision making to the operations departments

· Setting of goals & objectives for operations and product to achieve annual volume growth targets in conjunction with sales and participates in company marketing and sales efforts

· Manage the integration & implementation of new structures developed in operations

· Manage resources including tackling staff performance issues and identification of training needs, reviewing productivity and local recruitment

· Ensure all transports are carried out within predetermined cost and security standards and perform annual service and cost reviews to ensure we meet market requirements

· Ensure the operations departments adhere to all quality requirements e.g. operational compliance & certifications, ISO, Bizsafe Star, etc. and work with Finance to adhere to financial compliance requirements

· Prepare monthly reports relating to productivity, profitability, compliance etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· A Diploma / Advance Diploma / BSc. degree in business and supply chain preferred or their equivalent.

· 10+ years of air and ocean freight products

· Highly motivated leader who is assertive and adept at working in a competitive, challenging and fast-paced work environment

· Results oriented

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

· English advanced proficiency (written and speaking)

· Cargowise system, Advance Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills

· Willing to travel occasionally

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct performance evaluation for direct reports

· Recommend hiring, firing and promotion

· Identify and resolve departmental personnel issues

ENVIRONMENT:

100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

The Assistant Chief Engineer supports the Director of Engineering in overseeing both the operational and design aspects of the hotels facilities. This role involves utilizing design software like AutoCAD to create and modify technical drawings, support engineering projects and ensure that all designs align with local standards and hotel requirements.

As an Assistant Chief Engineer (Project & Operation) we rely on you to

Project Management

• Assist in Planning & Execution - Collaborate with DOE to plan, implement, and overseeing engineering projects, including renovations, upgrades and new installations
• Prepare project budgets and manage expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within allocated financial resources
• Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure that project specifications and schedule are met
• Utilize AUTOCAD and other design software to create detailed drawings and schematics for renovations, maintenance projects and new installations
• Assist in conceptualizing and drafting layouts for MEPS and HVAC systems that meet operational requirements and safety standards

Operational Support

• Evaluate equipment and system performance through detailed analysis
• Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules based on design specifications to enhance equipment reliability and lifespan
• Participate in evaluating team performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting regular training sessions to enhance skills
• Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans related to engineering systems, including fire safety and disaster recovery protocols
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, project progress and inventory of parts and supplies

The Director, Architecture is responsible for leading design, architecture, and construction for new build, adaptive re-use, conversion, and major CAPEX projects within the region. Decision-making, problem-solving, and project design development/management necessary to keep each project on schedule, in budget and to resolve differences between stakeholders are the main functions of this position.

Job Description:

1) Project Coordination:

· Key FS contact for Owner and Consultant team. Responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary Design Services team as well as internal stakeholders tasked with providing FS input for new build and renovation projects within the APAC region, or as assigned otherwise.

· Review of development opportunities for potential new projects, including conversions and adaptive reuse with creation of Project Improvement Plans (PIPs), design improvement recommendations, etc.

· Coordinate design review from concept through construction document phases to ensure compliance with Four Seasons Design Standards.

· Prepare project area programs (Area Summary) and recommend Consultant lists.

· Participate in site review to assess construction progress.

· Review shop drawings and material samples and all project relevant key documentation.

· Manage project updates and contribute to internal reports.

· Support and coordinate with the Portfolio Management team on all CAPEX and new-build related matters.

· Develop and strengthen strong client relationships to manage all company assets and capabilities from signing of deals to onset of specific property operational staff.

· Maintain all project communication and records; motivating team to drive key milestone achievements.

· Manage upwards to keep the VP, Design Services closely inform of all developments within the region.

2) Department Strategic Development

· Participate and contribute to development and maintenance of various brand standard documents while providing sound advice to project teams and Owners.

· Implement and maintain Four Seasons’ cutting-edge design and construction strategy in line with the company’s vision and values using all relevant resources and respecting sustainable design criteria to achieve the company’s short-, mid- and long-term objectives.

3) Initiatives and Special Projects

· Work directly with VP, Design Services on special projects as required.

· Lead internal Design Services initiatives (i.e., ESG, DIB, etc.) as required.

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

· Master’s Degree in Architecture preferred.

· Licensed/Registered Professional status (i.e., Licensed Architect, P. Eng., etc.).

· LEED accreditation preferred.

Work Experience:

· Minimum 10 years of experience managing the project development, design, and construction of luxury hotels and resorts, residential, mixed-use hospitality, and entertainment projects in domestic and international markets.

· Minimum 3 years of Hotel operator experience.

· Experience with managing multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring colleagues.

Travel:

· Travel as required based on project status, expected 40% of the time.

· Ability to coordinate and cross-reference design drawings from multiple disciplines.

· Possess various computer skills including CAD/other drafting software, creative software, Microsoft Office skills, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
