At Havas Australia, the Performance Director will work closely with the Head of Performance to provide leadership, direction and high quality day-to-day servicing for their media (or integrated) clients. As part of the media team you will run performance oriented client accounts and oversee the quality of performance service delivery across all agency media clients. The two core responsibilities of the role therefore are:
Performance client account leadership - The Performance Director will be responsible for leading the overall client relationship on select Performance clients, including end to end communications strategy development, execution, measurement, reporting and financial management. The role currently involves mentoring the Performance team, with growth envisaged under your leadership.
Performance product leadership - The Performance Director will provide quality assurance oversight and thought leadership on performance services across all media clients including measurement and visualisation solutions and tactics including (but not limited to) performance digital media, SEM, Programmatic display, Social & Affiliates. This will require working closely with Account leads and product specialists (e.g. programmatic lead).
The person in this role will also actively support the Head of Performance in business development (e.g. new business pitches) and in providing and representing Havas Media's point of view on industry topics (e.g. Viewability, Ad blocking, Cross channel measurement & Attribution).
Critically, as a senior member of the team this person will help to maintain a great team culture as the business continues to grow.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 years agency experience.
Experience managing and leading SEO and SEM strategies for clients.
Strong understanding of SEM, performance media and biddable landscape, suppliers and technology
Passionate about biddable media, with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new platforms and channels
Proven experience in running complex and effective performance media and branding campaigns, which exceed client expectations
Demonstrated ability to present strategic recommendations to external and internal clients
Strong analytical skills. Able to analyse and draw conclusions from data and comfortable presenting quantitative information in a client context
Eager to learn new concepts and challenge existing business models and processes
Effective written communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills and problem solving abilities
