As our Managing Director – Phoenix Future Skills, you will lead and manage the growth, delivery, and future development of Phoenix Future Skills, as Hull Colleges adult education brand.
The post holder will drive the sub-brand's geographical expansion and increase market share.
Hull College provides high-quality education & training for school leavers & adults, offering a wide range of vocational study programmes, Apprenticeships & degrees.

Responsibilities of our Managing Director – Phoenix Future Skills:
Lead the development and delivery of adult education programs with a focus on employability
Manage government contract delivery, ensuring compliance and achievement of specified outcomes
Produce high-quality reports on funding, financial performance, job outcomes, and teaching quality
Develop and oversee effective partnerships with external stakeholders, including employers and Job Centres
Lead the implementation and ongoing development of satellite centres in and around the East Riding region
Act as an ambassador for the college by engaging in regional and national business and skills networks
Collaborate with other senior leaders to align Phoenix Future Skills objectives with the college's overall strategy
Ensure effective communication and engagement with staff, learners, and stakeholders
Lead the recruitment, development, and performance management of the Phoenix Future Skills team
What we’re looking for in our Managing Director – Phoenix Future Skills:
High level management qualification or willingness to undertake e.g., Level 7 in strategic leadership
Management qualification or evidence of managerial and supervisory training
3+ years of successful senior leadership in projects, AEB, employability and SWAPs
Experience of quality improvement, achievement rates and job outcomes for AEB/Employability students.
Evidence of recent continuing professional development including in digital innovation
Experience of working regionally and nationally with partners such as DWP, JC+ and employers
