We are seeking a highly motivated Materials Program Management team leader, where you will be responsible to lead and drive procurement activities for a portfolio of new products within our HDD Business Unit, while being a trusted adviser and partner to the business, applying consistent guidelines for compliance, and managing risk and business ethics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead a team of Materials Program Managers, providing strategic mindset mentorship and support to ensure the successful execution of materials readiness initiatives.
• Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Provides expansive thought leadership and collaborates with cross-functional teams around ensuring new products meet cost, quality, functionality, schedule, product launch and production objectives.
• Works closely with senior stakeholders to align on product sourcing plan and cost objectives.
• Lead, develop and implement strategies with Global Commodity Managers for sourced parts, minimizing risks and ensuring continuity of supply.
• Lead and influence Product Cost Management improvements with Global Commodity Managers and Strategic Cost Management, to ensure product external BOM costs, meet both Should Cost adherence and Product Cost expectations.
• Apply data analytics tools and techniques to analyze materials data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize materials strategies.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with cross functional teams, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
• Assess supplier performance using data analytics, implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and delivery targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the materials program management function, using data analytics to find opportunities to optimize processes, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.

This is a very senior leadership role at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will bring focus, help advise and guide direction for the Senior Leadership Team, the Executive and Board of Directors on how digital solutions can facilitate Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust becoming a ‘digital first’ organisation and an exemplar Trust in the use of digital technology to provide safe, effective, responsive outstanding and efficient healthcare to the populations we serve.

The post holder will lead Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts digital and information transformation across the organisation and work in collaboration with the Integrated Care System (ICS) and other NHS Digital Providers.

This role will be responsible for utilising digital technology as part of achieving the Trust’s Improving Lives Strategy (2024 – 2029) and sub-strategies including the Clinical Services Strategy, People Strategy and Digital Strategy.

A key part of this role will be to examine the well established strategic, operational and functional relationship, joint and independent requirements, and interdependencies between SFH digital services and Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS).
• The post holder will have the highest level of interpersonal and communication skills.
• The post holder will build important relationships with the Trust Board and all five clinical divisional leadership teams and all non-clinical corporate leadership teams and NHIS.
• There is a requirement to build good working relationships with multi-level and multi-disciplinary clinical groups in collaboration with the Medical Director and CXIOs (CNIO, CCIO, CAHPIO). The post holder will be required to achieve the goals of the Trust Improving Lives strategy and enable the implementation of the clinical services strategy, people strategy, innovation and improvement strategy whilst noting the confines of the financial strategy.
• Digital transformation is a key enabler and priority for the whole Trust and there is a requirement to build influential relationships with all clinical, and non-clinical leadership teams in Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as well as those in system Partner organisations and within NHIS.
• The post holder will work closely with and establish a positive and effective relationship with the key stakeholders including the Trust CXIOs, Medical Digital Advisors and the Clinical Lead for Digital Innovation and transformation and the Clinical Safety Officer.
• The post holder will support the design and delivery of the Trust Transformation Programme by contributing and delivering digital enablers to realise safe, effective and efficient care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead a team of engineers in executing the characterization and component level testing of developmental HAMR head and media designs.
• Collaborate with HAMR head design and process development teams to align component parametric test and characterization capabilities and performance to meet the design and developmental requirements.
• Manage team deliverables and activities to fulfil the test and characterization needs of HAMR head developmental evaluations, in conjunction with internal test development and characterization teams.
• Lead qualification and deployment of new HAMR test hardware, software and upgrades aligned with the test roadmap and the support of internal HAMR test/tester development teams.
• Overall management of the advanced HAMR test lab/line, equipment and activities to meet test requirements of HAMR head developmental program. Ensure delivery of test data with high quality/integrity and adequate tester calibration, controls and monitors.

The Director, Transfer Pricing (“Director”) requires expertise in the tax transfer pricing rules and economics of intercompany transactions to provide transfer pricing consulting services to corporate clients. The Director will work with a team to develop, plan, and execute transfer pricing projects.

• Works with colleagues in foreign offices and other service lines such as International Income Tax, Value-Added Tax (VAT) and State Income and Franchise Tax to develop and implement global solutions for clients.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree with six to eight years’ experience in a tax consulting firm or corporate tax environment required; PhD in Economics is desirable.  Must have strong knowledge of U.S. transfer pricing rules; a broad knowledge of international tax and tax accounting and compliance; proven ability to direct and develop staff; strong project management skills; and excellent communication, business development, and interpersonal skills.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Economic database search skills must be excellent.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’s license required. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Requires extensive supervisory responsibilities, including leading multinational project teams, training employees, assigning work, and signing off on work for accuracy and completeness.
