• Overall General Management.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma/ Professional Degree in Business Studies/
• Administration/ Management, Human Resource Management, Social Science or equivalent.
• At least 5 to 8 years (s) of working experience in the management of human resources and general administrative controls and indirect purchases in the manufacturing environment.
• Required Languages: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu
• Familiarized with the company's general insurance and authority’s licensing regulations and

• Set up procedures related to cost accounting.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs to products.
• Prepare monthly operational reports explaining material, labor and overhead efficiency and productivity costs in comparison to planned. 
• Performs detailed analysis on inventory costs to develop the standard costs and explain the inventory variances.
• Coordinate inventory related activities with management and Inventory Control, including analysis, reporting, cycle count activities (such as blind counts); inventory adjustment needs; and help ensure overall inventory accuracy.
• Works with Sales team to analyze, discuss and suggest adequate pricing based on operational costs within the facility.
• Work closely with the production and procurement departments to understand and manage manufacturing and procurement costs
• Support external audit and tax preparation functions as relates to cost accounting.
• Continuously search for process improvement to increase efficiencies and productivity. Recommending changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce costs and improve process efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree with a reputable university either in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within accounting/finance with specialty in manufacturing cost accounting
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and practices, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of cost accounting principles and attention to detail is required.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Job Responsibilities

• • Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR and G/L) including preparation of journal entries, Balance Sheets, Income Statements & other reporting schedules.
  • Responsible for inter-company billing, bank reconciliations and preparation of year-end financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budgets and monthly update of forecasts.
  • Prepare bank instructions, fund transfers and process online payments.
  • Perform and provide the analysis and interpretation of financial results/performance.
  • Ensure proper documentations for financial and audit & tax purpose.
  • Assist in various ad hoc finance projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements

• • Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Resourceful and able to adapt in fast paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • To station in Singapore office for 6 months to 1 year, subsequently deploy to Johore office for permanent role.
