About you

• You’ll have an excellent working knowledge and experience in the Care and Support sector. It’s important that you have the following:


• Experience in positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.


• Experience in creating new, person-centred support plans and supporting others working to existing support plans.


• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience working in health or social care.


• Good understanding of CQC regulations, relevant legislation or working within a CQC regulated environment.

Where and when you’ll work

We provide 24/7 support to A and S. You need to be aware that you’ll need to be covering days into evenings, waking nights, weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet their support needs, but we will be flexible too, to find and agree a working pattern that suits all our needs.

You’ll be joining Home Groups wider transforming care teams within Kent, and you will be based in Ashford. We also have bases in Gravesend, Canterbury, Broadstairs, Snodland and Rainham, so you may be required to support our other customers on occasion when there is a requirement.

When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.

This will be the first home A and S have had since leaving school. You will be working in the same property as both twins; however, you'll only be required to support one alongside your team. Due to being nonverbal, both will need additional support to communicate their needs.

A has complex needs, autism and learning disabilities and really enjoys the time to chill. He loves watching animated films, Pixar being his favourite. If you like a good sing song, you'll get on like a house on fire as A loves to sing whilst banging out tunes on the keyboard, and he loves for everyone to join in the fun. If you’re all about the healthy diet this is great too, as A is mostly vegetarian and enjoys a healthy lifestyle.

S is very energetic and loves to go for long beach walks as well as walks in the woods and countryside, and if you like to bake then this will go down a treat too. He too likes to sing and play games and chill out watching animated films, but what he loves more is having his team interact with him while he’s doing all of his favourite things.

The role:

As a Programme Manager, reporting to the Vice President, you'll have a role out of the ordinary. You'll have direct responsibility for leading a significant cross-functional project, initially focusing on evolving our current Aerial Target technology into broader Unmanned Systems applications. Over time, you may also be asked to lead projects across the wider business, and the role has the potential to take on leadership responsibility for a small team, in line with business growth.

Day-to-day, you'll;

• Be responsible for the management of one or more QTS internal and / or external complex projects, ensuring that the projects meet time, cost, and quality expectations

The post holder will undertake a full, detained setting, maternity service review, mapping current provision to the required standards. They will act as a conduit to facilitate the transformation of maternity care delivery to ensure that care is individualised, trauma informed and reflective of service user needs. There will be a shared vision by all agencies, to pioneer a service which is recognised as gold standard and the epitome of maternity care for women and birthing people in detained settings. The Company

An award winning national residential developer with multiple developments across the county, specialising in traditional build multi-phase schemes.

The Project

A new traditional build development of 174x 2, 3 and 4 bedroom semi detached, detached and townhouses & 1 and 2 bedroom apartments including units for private sale and shared ownership.

The Role

Reporting into a Senior Site Manager on site, you will be responsible for the management of site operations which includes the site team and incumbent contractors. Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Review and approve risk assessments and method statements for all operations and ensure that all work is in accordance with method statements.
• Carry out service visits in accordance with the customer/sales plan.
• Carry out pre-occupation checks on all properties prior to handover.
• Action remedial items raised at home demonstrations.
• Action items raised by the Contracts Manager, Sales or Customer Care team.
• Complete checklists accurately and return to the regional office on a weekly basis.
• Thoroughly inspect and snag each plot prior to each key stage inspection carried out by the NHBC.
• Ensure that all sub-contractor quality stage checklists are complete prior to payment being authorised.
• Prepare the master build programme and review and revise in line with budget requirements.
• Monitor progress of the build programme to ensure construction methods and timescales are met and take corrective action to bring progress back in line with programme.
• Liaise with the utility companies to ensure the build programme requirements are met.
• Hold weekly subcontract meetings. Discuss and resolve all actions and circulate minutes.
• Check subcontract orders and liaise with commercial prior to issuing any variations or instructions.
• Plan flow of materials to ensure all requirements are met.
• Agree and manage the equipment, plant, staffing and subcontract requirements for the site.
• Respond to all queries from trades and action accordingly.
• Maintain the highest standard of site presentation at all times.
• Ensure compliance with the company's health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain traffic management and site strategy and review as required.
• Follow company guidelines in relation to accident and incident reporting procedures.
• Keep the health and safety compendium up to date at all times.
• Accompany health and safety advisors during site visits and undertake remedial action as appropriate.

About You

• You will have gained circa 4+ years experience, ideally working for a volume builder/developer as a Site Manager.
• Have the correct CITB qualifications for the position of Site Manager.
• Be able to control multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour.
• Recent and relevant experience as a Site Manager.
• Strong organisational skills with proven time management skills.
