Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Marine
Advocacy Manager.




The Marine Advocacy Manager is responsible for delivery of The Wildlife Trusts’ Marine Protected Areas (MPA) advocacy programme
within the North Sea, aiming to secure positive outcomes for marine wildlife through the identification of a suite of well managed
Marine Protected Areas. The role involves being a major stakeholder at every stage of the Marine Conservation Zone Project, Natura
2000 project and other key North Sea policy areas which impact upon MPAs, such as planning and fisheries issues.




The post holder will deliver advocacy work within and outside of the Wildlife Trusts focussing on the objectives of the Marine and
Coastal Act (2009). This will raise the awareness of marine conservation such that Trust staff and volunteers deliver benefits for
marine wildlife through their own work.




Applicant must have:

• A proven management and advocacy experience in marine wildlife conservation work.

• A proven track record of effective working with sea users, NGOs and statutory agencies.

• Leads the coordination and briefing during meetings with Congressional representatives and their staff
• VCD takes the lead in planning, establishing and implementing Vet Center policies and procedures, developing staff goals and objectives, monitoring, coordinating and evaluating the work of all Vet Center staff, including social workers, other Hybrid Title 38 Mental Health professionals, Title 5 Readjustment counselors, outreach workers and office Managers
• Provides direct readjustment counseling services within and outside of the Vet Center to include in-person and virtual services
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8:00am - 4:30pm; however candidate may be subject to working some evenings, weekends and holidays may be required; work schedule is subject to change based on veterans' needs.

Your Role:




A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Regional Engineering Manager to join our Manufacturing team.



As a Regional Engineering Manager you will be responsible for identifying the current state of maintenance and engineering
resource at each regional site, creating plans to bridge the gaps with the goal of improving capability. You will be pivotal by
understanding current maintenance and engineering performance using data analysis and engaging with stakeholders. You should have
experience in introducing PPM schedules on a variety of production equipment through critical path analysis while following
legislated health and safety processes.



The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems and HNC in electrical or mechanical
engineering with time served. They will have an ability to conduct fault finding assessments and make critical decisions based on
their findings. To be successful you must be able to work as part of a team, engaging confidentially and constructively with
stakeholders of all levels.

The role of Trust IT Manager is a new position for our Trust, and with the support of our Director of Estates and IT Infrastructure, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and grow the Trust’s IT service. You will provide operational and strategic leadership of the IT function across the Trust, in order to support our pupils, students and staff. Your work will be pivotal in supporting us to achieve our vision of ensuring all our children experience educational excellence every day.

You may have an IT related degree or technical qualification, however this is not essential; what is more important is your extensive experience of working within the IT field, leading and managing an IT service and IT projects. You will have the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, and be well-organised with effective communication skills.
