The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the Estates and Facilities Teams are, at all times, staffed with suitably qualified and experienced Personnel who are trained, developed and motivated to provide effective and efficient services across the Trust. The post holder will liaise with a wide diversity of stakeholders to ensure that the service is delivered effectively, embracing changes in the delivery of health care, and identifying and implementing innovative solutions, which support the modernisation agenda. The role will be predominately strategic in nature, providing delivery of the organisations estate strategy and development of strategic partnerships with Trust partners to ensure a collaborative approach to development of the Broadgreen site. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the reactive, corrective and planned maintenance of equipment, engineering services and building fabric for all Healthcare properties under their control. The post holder will have full responsibility for ensuring the environment is safe for patients and staff.

Due to business growth and expansion of their services, this is new opportunity to join my client as a project lead to drive community engagement, within their pioneering public health service focused on stopping smoking and community healthcare.

You will be someone passionate about making a difference, with an ability to juggle a wide range of different tasks and priorities. Adaptable and astute, your communication skills will allow you to build solid relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your remit will be to drive referrals into the service by fostering relationships with partner organisations, organising a range of events which will engage community groups, and generally build long-lasting partnerships that will ensure the success of the services. Perhaps an over-used phrase, but no two days will be the same; you may be meeting key contacts within partners such as charities or healthcare providers one day, and another day could be spent delivering training or talking at events.

Well organised but also creative, you will be able to work with the marketing teams to develop innovative campaigns & events to engage with different community groups for them to benefit from the service.

We are seeking an experienced Social Housing professional in Liverpool on a temporary basis until at least the end of January 2025, on a 35 hour per week contract with hourly rates up to £19 per hour.

Your new role

• Overseeing day-to-day housing management within the scheme and maintaining a positive environment for resident engagement
• Morning check ins via Tun
• Periodic health & safety checks including fire doors, alarms and legionella
• Void management and assisting with logging & chasing repairs
• Low level ASB management
• Basic support with benefits, signposting where appropriate
• Updating and reviewing risk assessments
• Responding to general queries from customers, family members or stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Housing/tenancy management experience within a similar role or social housing setting
• Good understanding of housing & tenancy management principles and relevant legislation
• Experience of building management, compliance requirements and relevant knowledge of health & safety policies and risks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• IT skills
